TUTORIAL: PREMIER PUZZLE “GAMEPLAY” THROW! EASY! (Right Hand Crochet)

- Hi friends! In this video I offer you a tutorial for my Premier Puzzle “Gameplay” Throw/Blanket! It measures Appx. 62” square after squares are assembled and border rows are completed.
**Need Puzzle yarn? My affiliate link is below! **
You will need:
- [ ] 7 skeins of Premier Puzzle for squares (colorways of your choice)
- [ ] 1 skein of Premier Puzzle to join squares and for the border rows. (Backgammon suggested, because it’s the darkest…but choose the one you prefer)
* Appx 3 skeins of Premier Puzzle for border rows. (You will have leftover yarns)
* One row for each colorway. (You may have leftover yarns from the colorways used for squares)
- [ ] 6mm Crochet Hook
- [ ] Darning Needle and Scissors

I love how you crochet and the way you attached the squares (which is the part I like the least). Have always done C1 between clusters. I like how it looks without that C1. I'm going to give that a try, I think I'll like it. Love the Puzzle blanket. One of my favorite yarns too. This would be perfect on my bed for next winter.

I used the first and the blue n purple one to make childrens sweaters. They came out beautiful, a pattern from Cyrstal with B.O.D. this creation is going to rock socks❤
Well, I’m 80 years old, so I have probably made thousands of granny squares over the years, always putting a chain between each cluster. Is deep in my muscle memory. However, I will definitely give this a try. I do like the smaller holes, especially if the blanket will be for a baby or a small child. They’re a little toes and fingers can so easily because up in the change between the clusters.

Hi Juan. Your blanket is lovely. It is difficult to explain, sometimes, to others, what you mean. The way you attached the individual squares was “wrong sides together”. In other projects, you may have “right sides together”. 🤟Audrey from Ontario.❤️🇨🇦🧶

First of all, thank you for this tutorial! I've been looking at new ways to make granny squares. Was wondering what hook size you used however because I'm sort of reorganizing my yarn and had a movie going in the background so I missed it at the beginning. Juan, if you wanted bigger spaces between clusters, would you chain one or two between clusters? I love this whole idea. I’m sure it will be gorgeous as is all you work.
When is it that you would turn your work, to prevent the squares from distorting? Yours look perfect but I have seen some wonky ones in my travels.

What is size of squares?
I have my yarn and have started making squares. I am getting 6 1/2 squares per skein. Not sure why but I can just make more in a different color until I get 48.. Thank you, Juan for taking the time to do this. BTW. I am not chaining between clusters and chaining 1 in the corners. 🥰💝🧶. I like how you joined the squares. So easy and quick! Looks good too!
