  • Very rare bike with original components that underwent a complete frame off restoration so is in like new condition. Bike was originally equipped with flat bar handlebars, but was changed over to drop bar handlebars and Tektro aero brakes to give it a true modern take on gravel bike ready!
The Sport Cross was designed for a wide variety of terrain conditions equally comfortable on rough roads or cyclocross racing or light duty touring or just around town or an all weather commuter. So if you only had room for one bike, the Miyata Super Cross would be an awesome bike!

    Hi John.
I have this bike and I'd like to make it 1x11.
    Do you think that's possible?

If your freehub is 35mm, generally it will accept 8-11 speeds. If the freehub is 30mm (as my Sport Cross was), it will only accept up to a 7 speed sprocket. Lots of good videos on RUclips “Replacing 7 speed freehub body with 8, 9, 10, 11s freehub. 3x7 to 2x9 or 1x11 drivetrain upgrade.”

Hey, what's a good price range to pay if I ever happen to come across one?
    Thanks in advance

That’s a tough question… really depends on the market etc. For example bikes seem to go for more in Toronto than in Calgary and very much dependent on the condition of the bike. My Sport Cross was in great condition and had all of the original components on it except for the drop bar upgrades and sold quick for $700 CDN after the overhaul. When compared to a brand new Surly gravel bike I think this was still a good deal.
