By the way, I used the soundtrack "Farewell/Brothers" and combined it with the "Credits Theme". I also don't used the full ending scene for the video. It was just too sad!

I think Leo's death is more sadder
Yeah, I think the hardest scene to watch was the scene than his wife started to cry...
The hand-holding is the best and saddest scene

Both Endings really show how much they truly ment to one another and their perspectives. In the beginning Vincent: A FED agent who lost his brother to Crime and wanted Vengeance against Harvey, regretfully putting his pregnant wife aside Leo: Harvey's Partner whom was betrayed, left to rot in Jail away from his family ,also wanting to kill Harvey. Both men Cross paths and work together to escape prison, bond through hard events, both getting Payback on the man who wronged them....just for Vincent to betray Leo's trust, trying arresting him they both fight against one another and either ending shows that regardless of betrayal and anger they show their respect and friendship. Leo honoring Vincent's wish or Vincent coming clean to Leo's wife. A Way out is a seriously an amazing game.

Leo's death is sadder honestly, but vincent's is still sad.
Death after a betrayal is truely unfair...
I think it was made for Vincent to die, because he gives the letter to Leo, while when Leo dies, the just hold hands. And when you finally hear the letter you start tearing up.
That's also true~ Seeing Vincent's wife crying while holding the baby was pretty hard to watch...

That one was a good ending indeed. But honestly I still like the other way around, cuz in that moment when they hold hands, it truly shows the brotherhood that they have made along the way, and Idk about the rest, but Leo, at his last moment after the whole conflict, also admitted to their brotherly relationship, and in my opinion, that was the most heartbreaking moments when they're finally in sync with one another.
Although yes, in Vincent death ending, both(his promise and the brotherly relationship) were implemented, but again, I just felt like the Leo's death ending intensifies what they both had with each other. Either way, A Way Out is still a very great game, with very great endings. I love it
Both endings have their sad parts... but for me it was by a long shot vincent's ending (leos death). On Vicents death the scene where he gives leo the letter, and later when the wife reads the letter where really emotional... But on Leos death both parts with his wife and his son made me cry alot :'(
Yeah, leaving a child and wife behind is pretty sad and shocking... ;_;
This man hide his own face while playing the piano because everytime he plays this song he remembers the journey Leo and Vincent had and burst into tears... No need to hide your tears, men cry and for good reasons.

I prefer leo's ending since he trusted vincent until the very end and even gave the letter to carol. Which is sadder? Vincent's ending... The fact that leo wanted to hold hands with vincent before he dies really breaks my heart

I tear up at both, but... You know how you can like and respect someone, or you can have a crush on someone? Well, I have a crush on Vincent's ending :) It affects me more _because_ it's unfair, and the survivor knows it and hates it... It's more subdued and introspective overall. Maybe I like it because that makes it similar to the ending of Brokeback Mountain (damn you Josef for that mountain view btw)?.. Also the silent handshake without any excuse is awesome.
I already wrote somewhere that both characters have an arc and their respective ending closes that arc, which I think is pretty cool. Vincent's arc is a redemption quest gone horribly wrong, and at the end of it he realizes that a) nothing can bring his brother back, b) now he let down and lost another close friend.
That's an very interesting thought!
To me, Leo really has the sadder death, Leo thought he had found a true friend that would stick by him no matter what. Poor man was backstabbed by who he thought was his friend, his brother. Leo accepts his fate and the hand hold symbolises that inside, they are still brother’s who stuck together.
Edit: Vincent also looked back multiple times before coming to terms with his actions. Also that face when Leo goes..

This is the first game I have played in my life that gave me tears. Not even Soap or Ghost from CoD really affected me too much so congrats to the devil pets for making the first game that made cry.
True, after the final intense fight they still give each others hand! Very emotional scene!
I can’t really pick,
Leo got locked up for 6 months and seen his kid 1 time after that then was shot and killed but Vincent said he will be the husband he once was and the father he can be but never will get to see his daughter grow up or get to know her and it all comes to who was closer and made the most heartful promises and it’s hard to decide both gave me a tear and they were great characters but honestly

He looked at Vincent as a brother and trusted him with his life and even introduced him to his wife and child but then turns out Vincent is a cop and shoots Leo in the chest and Leo just sat there dying breath awaiting and he wanted to die holding his brothers hand.. 😭😭 badass game with emotional endings
Nicely formulated! A few decide for Leo and a few for Vincent, but to be honest there is no right or wrong decision. But you are right! Badass game with emotional endings! ;D

oh man i just played this game again today fully from start to finish, one of the few games where it feels like u are playing it again for the first time, a feeling like no other. Masterpiece..... i wish they would have release the ending music after the death scenes tho cz they are so so good. Incredible piano cover btw!!

I'm thinking about all the Hollywood movies, these cop vs criminal were the cop always survives. I like Leo more but prefer the ending were he dies.
That ending has a lot more cinematical effect and it felt like a classic Hollywood movie.

Vincent such a cold bloody person. I mean he came to Leo's waif and he told her that I killed your husband it is such a shitty feel, but Leo when he killed Vincent he did not come to her house he have a feelings :(

Both ending were sad but Vincent's death was very very sad as he had just got a new baby and by the way , I was at Vincent's side.

Thank you haha. I play by memorizing fingerings of pieces. The first piece I learned and performed was "First Step" by Hans Zimmer, the 7-8 minute intense piece. It was a real doozy I'll tell ya. I would love to see an overhead view of this particular performance by you if that's ever possible. l Love your performance btw
