Nobody wanted this theme more than me, Tri. Moon and Beast Nation. Me and moon met on xylot themes in 2008 and became very close friends, I miss him. Rest easy brother. As for Beast thank you for working your ass off on your worthy replicated versions of this theme. This is his best theme by far in my opinion, but I do love his Nation Leader theme too.
This is actually the second version of The Rock's _"Do You Smell"_ theme song that he used before the WWF The Music Volume 4 theme, the original version from the 08 - 30 - 99 episode of RAW had a slightly different beat with a heavier bassline and shorter guitar solos in them. That version was never released because The Rock only had it for a week and replaced it with this version of the theme the week after that.

It wasn't abandoned, it just wasn't released until last November. It was in the vault for years with all of the previously recorded and unreleased songs that the WWE made ever since then.

Oh I absolutely agree. You definitely had a better touch over the main elements and melody. And you also had those claps and clatters on the fillers that I had omitted from mine. Although nothing prepared me for there being a third lead guitar solo. God, I loved that.

No that _"People's Champion"_ theme that was recently released on Uncaged XIV last November in 2020, was used on RAW in October 1998 the day after The Rock lost to Mark Henry at the WWF Judgment Day : In Your House pay per view. By the time Survivor Series 98 rolled around the following month, he didn't have that theme anymore it was replaced with the Corporate heel version of the theme.
This was EPIC!!!! I think that The Rock should've kept using this theme when he first used it in 99 all the way to Raw after WrestleMania X7 when he got suspended back in 01. Then use "know your role" as his return theme, when he came back to the "WWF" and rock bottomed both Shane and Vince McMahon on that Raw!! Just my opinion lol...speaking of know your role, makes me wonder what The Rock's "know your role" theme would sound like extended like this do you smell it V3 extended version 🤔🤨🤨
This was made when The Rock's music was transitioning from _"Do you smell"_ to _"If ya smell"_ because the final version with the _"IF YA SMELL"_ intro and the faster tempo that he had after this didn't debut, until Unforgiven 1999, wasn't finished yet. So this is basically the prototype version of that theme.
It might be on the TV version they used (the one without The Rock's adlib and Elvis-style outro). For some reason they decided to make the changes for the Volume 4 release we got

No adlib, SmackDown Hotel outro, or 3rd guitar solo. I gotta check, though I don't have the WWE Network right now.
