My family never made food with rice when I was growing up. I don't know if my mom or my brother hated it or something but we never bought it. Even staying with relatives, no rice. I didn't really learn how good it was until I started eating at Chinese food places in highschool. Now it's a frequent item on my grocery list.
Momrissa has made the decision... I like white gravy... and so will all of you!!! GO MY CHILD MALPHA... IMBIBE THE WHITE GRAVY... AND PRODUCE MORE WHITE GRAVY
Damn. No rice? Lost some respect points there from me, Ravencroft fam. I grew up in Virginia, which is relatively southern, but rice has always been a big staple in my life growing up. Even more so when I got older. Like living on my own, one of my go-to quick fixer meals is 2 cups of white or haiga rice and tuna or chicken. So very basic. Sometimes, I'll add black beans or lentils to it. It's just so easy if you feel like being low effort but getting food in your belly, enough to fill you up. With the tuna, if I need more calories, I'll mix in kewpie mayo and sriracha, and then you basically have a deconstructed spicy mayo and tuna giant onigiri lol.
I would think Curry a la King would be more popular. The two pack of chicken coconut curry and the two pack of premade mashed potatoes are basically right next to each other at Costco.
In many places in the USA, what they call "white gravy" here is known as "country gravy" and is typically served with cracked black pepper. Often served on biscuits or country-fried steak, indeed it can be served with mashed potatoes.
Biboo especially as SEA couldn't believe what she was hearing. Riasa may as well have said her family wasn't partial to breathing oxygen.
TACTICAL LORE DROP INCOMING

Much as I love the Ravencroft family, this hurts me on a spiritual level.
