      Hololive can't help it, if fans reject that stupid idea. In every job, even in "Western countries", you have people with seniority and/or tenure. To say that there isn't obvious generations, makes no sense.

      I see parallels to TWICE, honestly. Sixteen people made the final audition and went on TV to be part of the group, and even though JYP only wanted 7 members, there were simply too many fantastic contestants and so we ended up with a 9 member group. And of the other 7/16 that didn't make it into TWICE, 4 had spectacular success as soloists or as popular members of other groups. And at least 1 other had some success. So even among the finalists there were so many people who could have made it. When the audition has so many huge talents it can be hard to choose but I believe YAGOO did a very good job with HoloMyth. I love all 5 of them equally.

    My opinion of their motivation to join hololive:
    Kiara: Trying to find a new job (outside her previous career scope) that utilize her sets of skills
    Calli, Amelia, Gura: Trying to change/evolve their career (Maybe like changing from an old company to a new, better company)
    Ina: Trying to change the pace of her established career (trying something new in order to prevent from getting stagnant)

    This is so well edited and put together, I really hope this blows up for you. You definitely deserve it for the effort you put in. Such a good 30 min vid. I really felt for Calli in her parts, since I didn't know she went through that. Their advice overall was solid and it was interesting to hear Ina's side of things, on why she auditioned and how she felt in regards to her art.

    Damn your dedicated!
    Im really thankful for putting together all this. I never get around to watch all streams and their thoughts on random topics i had no idea they announced the auditions and completely missed them talking about it. It's so nice to have these small talk- clips that i would otherwise miss collected in one video!
    Big thanks!

    Thank you for finishing this. I have just started with VTubers and HoloMyth is my first addiction. This video is like watching a documentary. The members share many personal moments here. I love hearing personal stories from each of them all at the same time like this. But, because these clips were taken from different times, their personal stories weren't rushed, they came out naturally. So not only were we treated to personal stories, but they were natural and intimate stories from each member. And the combination of these stories and the wholesome love they share at the end during the 6 month anniversary live, is nothing short of spectacular, and it warms the heart.

    By the way, shoutouts the editor for this. Kept it incredibly engaging, relevant, and balanced. This is really good, clean work!

    After watching the video, it was very entertaining and it started to rain at the end. I love Hololive and i'm glad i was a part of it (fan)while the pandemic started. If i haven't found them oh idk what i have been doing this whole time. And after hearing these girls advices for auditioning and their story, it motivited me? or helped me i guess? I'm a female viewer and i'm young, and I know it's not good to tell my age in the internet but I'm 15. I know i'm already stupid. But enough of that, i hope they will do another audition.. if my age can make it in time? *Oniikami* your editing was really great I give you a thumbs 👍👍 ups on the video and you too. You deserve more views, I hope more people sees this.
    And also HoloCouncils is looking great I love them 👍😀 Kronii best girl but I also think Mumei is best girl too. I love them both. I love the other three too but these two are the one i like. RESPECC

      Well if the Vtubing industry is still on good shape in the next years to come (18 is the minimum if you want to audition in Hololive, Japanese laws because Japanese company). Meanwhile probably you should build up a background on this kind of stuffs and work on your skill sets. Even if you may not be selected when the time comes at least those will probably help you out when you're about to enter the workforce or university.

    the audition process is so mysterious for the outside world, it seems like over the place too

    • @Oniikami
      @Oniikami  3 года назад

      to simplify the audition process:
      stage 1: you send an audition tape. aka a video of you doing something or saying directly to the camera why you should be hired
      stage 2: if you pass stage 1 you’ll get a notification and you’ll then be setup with a phone interview where hololive questions you a bunch of stuff. what the stuff is, not specific, but judging from their anecdotes very predictable (eg “why do you want to join”, “what will you bring”, job experience, etc). very standard job interview questions
      stage 3: second phone interview only if staff thinks you passed the first one. again questions are supposedly very standard to corporate interviews
      stage 4: wait to see if you’re accepted or rejected.

    • @tribopower
      @tribopower 3 года назад

      @@Oniikami isn't stage 3 a personel interview in the company? I guess with covid and whatnot they changed to phone.
      Thank you for the overall info tough, it still doesn't tell us much about what is going on, some of them told they just passed by talking about their favorite hololive senpai all the time, others had a showcase of skills, others not really... and so on, that's why I said its all over the place

    • @ericp631
      @ericp631 3 года назад

      @@tribopower it's not any specific thing they are looking for other than things like self motivated,ect.
      It's just whoever catches their eye. Basically, are you entertaining? Do you give off the air of someone people would want to watch? What does your act add to the group that they don't already have? The final interview is really more about gauging the person, as they already know your act from knowing your past work and passing the other rounds.

    Tips to being a great manager:
    1) Come up with some laughable concept or idea that will be immediately ignored by both your talent and the fans (not calling them Gen 1, Gen 2, etc.)
    2) If that fails, be an ungodly savior team member fill-in during a “Left4Dead” stream.
