When my cat was ready to deliver she went up to me and cried. I sat by her the whole time stroking her head giving her encouragement. She was a wonderful mom. She loved and took care of them. I was so proud of her.

@@johnmoran1317 The other (lighter-coloured) cat is actually an older daughter of the mother cat, so a half-sisted to the babies. It would have been charming had it been the father, but alas not.
Father cats do sometimes help with childcare/rearing I believe, although I think it's rare.

They do absolutely nothing for me - needless to say, I don't have any kids, lol. But kittens and especially puppies, omg, another story altogether. Watching cats snuggling I'd so calming, I wanted a video of the whole family yesterday and loved it. Even dad continued to be a part of it all. I never thought of how much it probably affects the parents when the kittens are given away, but it has to, I seen this family and it was totally amazing. I'll send it to you of you would like. Its pretty long but so worth it.

One of the best sounds in the world -- a cat's purr. Our Masha, rescued from an East Village crash pad years ago, was an itsy ball of fluff with a huge motor when we got her. She lived to be 23, and died at dawn, peacefully, drifting off in my lap. And that purr...whoa...a friend used to say whenever he'd hear her, "Where do you put the batteries?" Jake and Mack are cool felines..but Masha? Great little cat, I miss her.

when the kittens were squeaking quite loud, my own cat pulled himself away from the fire quickly and come to the screen to see. He studied intently and then when it all died down he went back to chilling again. He used to take care of a little kitten in his last home, and any new younger cats that are out and about the neighbourhood, he takes them under his wind and they end up sitting on my doorstep waiting for him. Hes such a good father figure cat and would love to let him have a kitten, but my other cat, she would hit the roof and the new kitten likely....ah well...lovely video :)

Every moment of the video was so perfect. Mom purred during feedings, Dad helped to clean them afterwards and play with them. The look in Coco's eyes was always loving and vigilant, ready to do whatever was necessary to ensure the survival and wellbeing of the family. Every single cat and kitten is gorgeous. The colour and markings are fantastic! Thank you so much.

My husband and I have caught nearly 50 cats and took them in to be nutuered or spayed in the last 3 years then we let them back into the community. We put food down on our property, some come back daily others do not. But in our hearts we know we did the cats(mostly we want to help the cat) and our community a favor.
I also help w TNR (trap neuter release) and feed a colony of cats and 15 raccoons every week! I have some videos on my channel btw

This is the BEST mom in the world! I have raised 2 human babies and laughed to see the crazy positions she would hold to allow them to all nurse. She also showers then with licking and is endlessly patient. What a fabulous role model for us humans. Absolutely adorable!!
