As I have limited time, storage and I think about Lego as longer investment, I decided not to focus on smaller sets, but just couple of mid size with potential but most of all, couple of big sets. I am waiting for a good offer for Cantina from Star Wars. I am wondering if the Rivendell is a good investment - set receives great reviews but will The Lord of the Rings still have fans after couple of years? I was also thinking about 1-2 sets from Monkie Kid - not popular now, but beautiful and maybe it will get more popular in the future?
You ever have Amazon put your items on sale without your knowledge? Happens to me now n then, sometimes 30 or 40 % off and I had no idea. That's not cool. how can they do that?
Hi I'm from Poland, unfortunately it looks very poor in our country, the golden times for lego ended a while after the pandemic. At the moment there are more and more investors, but very few people who want to buy lego, which makes me think if it is still a profitable way to invest.
From Poland you could sell all across Europe. You have access to sell on Amazon in many different major markets. Plus I think there are likely many opportunities in Poland too... Just gotta find the right sets and buy them at the right prices
Thanks for sharing your experience. Based on my analysis, most of the sets have the cheapest prices couple of months after launch. I wonder how to combine it with approach to focus on sets that will retire this year, without buying sets that have for example 40% discount but retirement date has not been not specified
About the impact of movies on a certain theme: I understand the logic but for instance Lego Ninjago movie didn't seem to do well for those sets. There are sets from regular show of Ninjago which performed fantastic while Ninjago movie sets are like...meh. So I wonder if for Minecraft won't be the same ?
It's just one factor out of many that will impact the set's performance. Even a great movie that is extremely popular can't help a really bad set that is oversupplied to become a great investment. The other signals need to look good too, and then the spike in demand from the movie could be the thing that launches it to the moon. For a great example, look at Stranger Things Upside Down. Went from $200 to $500 in six months, largely driven by the release of Season 4 of the show
I will reach out to virtual assistants to help streamline a few aspects of the biz, any recommendations for a reputable site that caters to the toy realm?
Hey Shane, love your lego contents! I want to buy your book, but I am not a reader LOL (I would fell asleep 😂). Have you thought about publishing an audio book version of that? Thanks!
Dude you gotta stop with the choppiness in your videos. You’re doing way too much editing. Just do some free flow talking instead of making yourself look like the Michael Jackson tv monitor in back to the future 2 lol.
Are you changing anything in your LEGO investing business this year?

I've got a 10x10 climate controlled storage unit with a few hundred sets. Selling cheap. Ask away.
Thanks for the information started buying last year and am excited to see how this part goes
You mentioned bots. How are you tracking sales with bots. Do you have a video on it?
Great video! Appreciate the insight. A lot of good retiring sets this year. Hard to narrow it down with limited space left. Lol

Great tips, love your videos, definitely the best on RUclips. Cheers 🍻
Thanks a lot for the support!
2023 Minecraft sets are amazing. In 2024 we see some even better ones.
I do have a question, since you sell on Amazon, do you use FBA or pack and deliver the items yourself?
Sorry meant send, not deliver
I use FBA for the majority but also sell some items MF
@@BrickBucks awesome!! Thank you

My plan is to buy zero Lego sets
sorry to hear
Same. There's no profit due to selling fees & and people expect free shipping unless you bought at a high discount
My plan is to buy every lego star wars anniversary set with limited minifigure.
I wonder if LEGO investment is starting to die. Seems like it’s hard for sets to go up in value now a days.
Nope, my 2023 was great, and tons of sets that retired a month ago already flying up. Lego investing is not going to die any time soon
@@BrickBucks well that’s good for you. But here in my country, most sets are still under retail price.
@@dualmoldedb3088what country?
Very cool video, thanks so much :)
👨🏽💻👍🏽
Do everything brother 😜
Aye you should change your Background !

Yeh i quit Lego investing. My savings are better of in the blue chip cryptos
Good luck with crypto!
Same.
Hey Shane, love your lego contents! I want to buy your book, but I am not a reader LOL (I would fell asleep 😂). Have you thought about publishing an audio book version of that? Thanks!
yep there is an option to upgrade to include the audiobook during checkout :)
Save your money.
My strategy this year: avoid Brickheadz, Ideas and Mos Eisley Cantina😂

A tip I learned ages ago was never to cut in the middle of a sentence. This video will chop after a few words. There’s no space to breathe
Lego isn't worth investing in anymore. At least not in Europe.
I know many people doing it succussfully in Europe
Minecraft will boom in a few years when the kids that are to young to buy the sets now, get older and get jobs.
Nostalgia sells.
Wouldn’t be so hyped just because the kids will grow.
The game is here more than 10 years so some of the kids have already grown.
