Crazy Strong Master Fair!: 3/5 EX-R NC Bianca and Virizion Showcase - Pokémon Masters EX

(This description is going to be long, as I’m going to give my options on Bianca and why I have her earlier than intended. So my commentary on all the clears in this video will be in the pinned comment.)
So, remember my community post discussing the new units and how I said I was gonna go for Larry first? Well, I got too tempted seeing everyone else use her and seeing her solo every LA stage so quickly. Plus, with her story and character growth really getting to me and Bianca in general slowly becoming a Top 5 Unova character for me, I gave into my temptation. So, one Tuesday morning I said to myself “Sure, I’ll go for Bianca first. Worst case scenario, I can pull Larry in a paid scout”… then my first multi happened.
So, how do I feel about NC Bianca? Well, I think she’s really strong, but not quite broken. 1/5 Bianca looks solid, but 3/5 Bianca is a beast! However, she has a lot of the same flaws as Adaman, in the fact that her rebuffs are very strong and there overall untimely for their type is very powerful. But their DPS is very lacking, making them not quite in contention for the “best unit in the game” conversation. That being said, Bianca’s utility puts her far above Adaman imo and sets her far apart from most units in the game, especially with her role. I mentioned already in my community post how I think NC Bianca is in the wrong role, and should be a Tech or Field instead. Yet her role label makes her so much more unique and fun at the same time.
While my favored content in this game is shorter battles, like Champion Stadium, I’ll admit that Bianca’s strong suit is definitely Legendary Gauntlet, proven by the fact that NC Bianca set a new milestone in this game’s lifespan. She soloed every Legendary Arena stage in just over an hour! If that doesn’t scream “very powerful unit”, I’m not sure what does. Her grid also has so many gimmicky nodes, that it shouldn’t be a surprise she was able to do it so quickly. She’s got Staggering 4, Defense Destroyer 9, Ridicure 3 (which I never used), Circle Hit: Attack & Sp. Atk ↓, and of course, Unova Circle (Def.) Extension 5. A normal Circle Extension was already going to be strong, but Extension 5 pretty much means it’ll be up for most of the battle. I think I’ve said enough about how strong NC Bianca is. It’s been a long while since I actually invested into strong Master Fair damage dealer, so I already know she’s going to be very helpful in the future!
Truth be told, I usually have ideas of what I intend to showcase before I start pulling units. But since I thought I’d get her after the Fighting stage left, I didn’t bother theory crafting. Plus, her domination over LA made it difficult on that front too. So just did a bunch of CS clears and tried to show as much of her grid stuff as I could. Of course, I did try to sprinkle some extra non-CS clears in here to make things interesting. Enjoy!

1:58 Fighting Overkill
Fighting Zone + -3 Rebuff and Three Master Pasisves. Just wave the white flag at this point lol. Replacing Rosa with Rei probably wields the best Fighting team in the game rn, but I’m not entirely sure about that. Nonetheless, this team is devastating and can easily demolish any Fighting weak stage, so long as there’s no Sentry Entry x2 involved 😅

5:00 General Supporting
Despite her Strike role, NC Bianca is (second) best as a Fighting enabler, especially making one target take damage similar to if they were in a Fighting Zone. I decided to use Marshal to buff both the Master Passive and Unova Circle (Def.).
7:51 Off-Type
With the right build, Bianca can easily Off-Type CS, but she definitely wants a second Fighting unit to help make things easier. Unfortunately my best Fighting unit besides Bianca is Riley, who isn’t great, but he’s good enough to get the job done. NC Bianca is actually a very good Riley partner, as her passive helps buff Riley’s Speed at a much faster pace.
11:20 Ramping
I wanted to show more of Bianca’s offensive capabilities. I’m still generally foreign to the ramping playstyle, since I don’t have many units with Head Start 1 as a lucky skill, not many grids dedicated to a Propulsion Node. Even still, I figured I’d try to show the idea since Bianca’s TM lowers sync countdown. I also used Bianca’s special Lucky Skill here, since her Sync was the most important thing here. It’s decent, but you generally want to use CS2 instead. Colress lowered Defense and buffed the Master Passive.
13:35 Sync Redemption + More Ramping
Sync Redemption is honestly kinda pointless to use with Circle Extension 5, but it can be solid for quick ramping like this. Bianca’s EX Role covered the EX support buff, so I could afford supports like Misty. Paulo is still my primary ramper, so I brought him here.
16:00 Unova Buffing
This and the next clear we’re pretty last minute editions but, I figured I’d try to show a full Unova team to show how good of a semi-Support Bianca can be, even without utilizing her Fighting rebuff. I used N as an example to boost his damage with Bianca’s Defense Destroyer. Caitlin maxed N’s Attack and tanked pretty well with help from Bianca’s Defensive Circle and debuffs.
18:59 Unova Psuedo Tank Buffing
Along with the previous clear, I wanted to try and do something similar to what I did in my Volo showcase (but On-Type this time). I try not to reuse units in my showcases, but Colress was the only real psuedo tank I had for Unova, so I decided to use him again here. I just used SS N because he’s physical and On-Type.
22:14 Swords of Justice
In case you all forgot, I do have a 3/5 Cobalion I shelved a long time ago lol. Since I have every currently playable Sword of Justice, I figured I’d try this team out.
Even outside this theme, SC Diantha actually works very well with NC Bianca since Secret Sword hits physical defense, rather than special defense. Kinda wish I ran Staggering here, but even without it this team made quick work of Lance.
25:33 FINALLY beating Palmer!
Even with me having NC Bianca to finally counter Palmer, this was still incredibly frustrating. I swapped between SSA Cynthia and NC Rosa several times until I decided to just sync with only Bianca and Riley since I was tired of missing quad ques with Rosa’s TM. And somehow, that was the solution. I think this is only possible with Riley and Bianca’s EX Roles. Also, my Rosa does still have Vigilance, but only because I was too lazy to think of a Lucky Skill to give her for this fight and never again lol.
29:00 LG Solo Example
Despite the focus of this showcase, NC Bianca is best in LG as I mentioned in the description. The fact that she is the fastest unit to solo every LA stage more than proves this statement too. So I had to try at least one of her solos and I figured I may as well do Registeel since it’s On-Type. And after trying it out…wow that was easy. I consider this an “unlucky” run, which should put into perspective how easy her solos are lol.

Well done I completely forgot about having a free coba who can boost fighting damage i actually pulled him long ago for move acceleration and crit buff but now his value as free Bianca support.

I am sorry but how is she a Strike unit? Look at that grid she has more Tech stuff than some recent Tech units.
But both ger Cheren getting such amazing outfits and love makes me so happy.

Terrible luck aside (yet another pity which I frankly expected), her kit should make up for it I guess. Wasn't interested in 3/5ing her at first but that grid has very good stuff. Might spend a yellow candy to reach all nodes. Haven't gotten anyone first multi since SS Serena's original release btw. I did get a few second multi ones, but that anti streak is getting way out of hand
