It’s not like an old jolly man/women or a family owned park in a small town… these are corporate juggernauts in suits and hard hats. If you were to die at one of their parks - they would sue your insurance company for defamation and take your life insurance money… if they could charge you for every step you take in the park, they would. Heck, this comment I’m making will more then likely be deleted. Why? Because they’re a self serving corporate company. Now, can multiple things be true at once?? Yes. That means it’s still cool of them to give us a behind the scenes look, it can still be a great park, and they can also still be greedy corporate conglomerates. I love EVERYTHING about this so far. The story of the Celestials, the nighttime lighting, the Celestial Spin, second launch, dueling aspect!! 💫 This is probably my most anticipated ride at Epic Universe so far!!! 🌟 I loooooove a creative, stellar backstory, especially the theme of this. 🤩🤩
Here I am, a long time Disney World fan, once a year trip from 2 years old till 20... And I'm geeking out about Epic Universe more than anything Disney has done in the past few years. Both me and my girlfriend want to take our kids to Disney sometime in the near future, but we're having an internal struggle that we both want to go to Universal instead.. and with Epic Universe opening next year, let's face it, we're probably gonna go to Universal. So excited to see what has been created! Especially for Celestial Park, I'm happy y'all have decided to create an original concept to tie all of the IP's together, making it a truly one of a kind experience.
Why not take your kids to Disney next year and wait a year for Epic, the first year will be insanely crowded. That’s my plan, to let the initial summer season pass at the very least and go in the fall or the next year
The blend of a thrilling, weaving roller coaster and the story of Celestians riding comets is how a theme park is done, unlike what’s going on at the “other guys” theme park earlier down the interstate.
I'm so pumped to ride this ride I swear as a coaster enthusiasts I really do appreciate how universal nails every theme and puts there money where there mouth is thanks universal for being the best❤
This is awesome. The Rise Guys are back! I love those guys. Really hope they go behind the scenes on the other rides in development as well. That should really help bide time and pump up the excitement for the new park. I know I’m excited and pumped up for it.
This looks to be one of the best coasters in existence! Not many duelers around to start with. Only a lap bar on this layout probably means lots of airtime! This guy is excited...❤

I generally find the stuff that the people in Universal Creative say is less scripted than the stuff their random employees say. Maybe they are just given more freedom or the script is built AROUND what they say?
The hub and background of Epic Universe looks and sounds magical. It makes me wonder if Universal would ever consider making a movie based on Celestial Park like how Disney is doing with some of their attractions.

Only way they can come back is if all the announcements they made at D23 come to the parks and meets the true Disney expectation that they have been lacking. I mean I’m all for a Disney villains land but it’s gonna be sad if half the animatronics aren’t working and the rides are always down. We need original Disney storytelling not this new bs they’ve been doing. Universal knows what’s up when it comes to storytelling this day and age.

I only picked those two because they are the Phonetic Alphabet words for S and D, as in Star Dust. I know the name is one word but still.
It cannot be understated how classy of a choice it was to NOT incorporate an IP into an E-ticket ride at a theme park in 2024, let alone the main attraction at the park, arguably.

I'm so happy a "Dueling Coaster" is returning to the Universal Orlando Resort after the suspension of the dueling aspect of Dueling Dragons (Dragon Challange) at IOA and eventually closing an opening day classic. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with Hagrid's.

All the parks are very near, you can park in DisneyWorld, use the Disney Restrooms and take the bus to go directly to Epic Universe! 💫
