Ending an interview by saying : How proud we are of you!!! is something I have never heard in my life - but we should honnestly hear that kind of speach more often... Thank you Jonathan Ross! How did I miss this interview? Pure gold at either side - such an amazing interview by Jonathan, uninterested in the gossip and truly letting Tom talk and asking the right things. Especially loved how he told him that anyone who matters would be supportive. And that proud of you at the end could have sounded condescending but you can see the almost fatherly pride. And oh my Olivia! Everytime the camera is on her, the look of fondness...And obvs Tom is a total babe. So so happy for him.

I learnt from a very young age not to judge people, due to my own stuggles with military. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and that's what makes everyone different 🙂. It's hard to say but just be yourself and be happy because you only have 1 life so why hide it. The world will be around long after your gone. Be proud, be happy & mostly be kind even to those who you sometimes wouldn't even acknowledge, because you don't know people's stuggles.

Jodie Foster said once no matter how embarrassed you are never tell a lie cause then you've got to come up with a second then a third.So true. The second I don't remember the author but this is what fits in with this interview.He was coming out late in his life and he advised never come out when you are ashamed or feel guilty about it.Only come out when you are happy or proud about it. I watched this clip a long time ago and just watch it again... it amazes me that Jonathan spent like 11 minutes avoiding saying the word gay and is was awkward AF. I don’t think I noticed that on the first watch
it's a common joke about gay guys cause they take it up the butt or from the back etc. It's not actually about the tea. it can be rude or disrespectful if made from someone u don't know well or have ill intentions but friends sometimes joke about it like some of my straight friends as banter and I don't find it offensive just how Tom is saying about his uncle
what is the point of a host inviting a guest onto a show, and the host does 2/3 of the talking. This moron talks way to much, and shut his yap every now and again to allow his guests to feel more comfortable and chat. Tom Daley is very engaging, funny, and adorable, and watching him here, I feel he has to shotgun his comments out. This host is too much of a comedian who does not know how and when to give and take focus. He should watch Graham Norton, I thoroughly enjoyed Tom on there, as well on his blog video posts.
Graham Norton is the master at interviewing technique. He came up with the idea of having all the guests on at the same time to create a party type atmosphere so as to help relax his guests in the hope that they will open up a bit more than they would do in a standard one on one interview. I see other countries, particularly America have copied this idea!
