Thanks for sharing this--I've been looking out for it. I thought that all of the performances were great, especially Tom's. However, the reviews were accurate--the plot was a bit confusing.

I don't think he's married to anybody. I think that the bulk of the movie is in the mind of Eve with whatever she is going through. One reason I say that is the scene toward the end of the movie when Peter/Tom is setting up an office area. It's shot from the left side and we can clearly see his left hand. There's no wedding ring and it was there earlier in the movie. Peter is also a slightly different husband between the two women--more concerned and comforting with Eve, but kind of petulant and brooding with Renata. I think that the ending where Eve starts singing in the bar ends up being the first time that she and Peter meet. But, I do plan to watch it a second time to see if I can understand more.
Yes, me too. But, luckily I had read some reviews ahead of time, so I was prepared to be confused! The performances were very good, though, and Tom was gorgeous!
I don't know if i understand the film wrong but I think either she have schizophrenia or Dissociative Identity Disorder, and I think she really have DID so she has two character she doesn't know peter at all except from far she sees him with his friendsin the bar or singing and having fun. and build this character in her mind that they are married and happy but they don't have children and then the second character in her mind try to beats or overcome the first character thats why when they fight she was fighting herself and hurt herself.
It didn't explain the stabbing scene though. I have this theory that they both are the same woman who suffer from DID or other similar mental health disorder.
