33 c is very hot! Really appreciate all the effort, as a brand new beginner I find these lessons very well structured and helpful without being intimidating. I think that’s what scares off a lot of people at first, but with systematic and step by step advancement like these it makes the learning both fun and rewarding.
It works for some! If it does then great :) Reading and playing is a great "mathematical" way to go about learning an instrument, though definitely don't attach yourself too much - it's always great to get used to playing without sheet music too!
This was very important to understand but I want to see if you can clarify for me. The ghosting note you mention should not make any sound. Do you mean it does not have a harmonic sound and just a percussive sound? Or, should not have any sound at all and just be used for rhythmic purposes?
Hey Christina, I'm so sorry if no one replied to you already but in answer to your question, the ghost notes should simply just be an ever so gently "brush" or not even a "slap" sound. So yes, a percussive sound! :)
