I'm almost an adult now and I'm coming back to watch this after many years. This was my favorite video when I was little and I must have seen it a couple hundred times. All the memories came flooding back within the first 2 seconds of this video... Very nostalgic
This video is put together in an excellent way. I've flown on an A380 twice, the first time I remember thinking how much more space there seemed to be compared to a 747-400.
I do remember when I was child by watching those A380 manufacturing videos at between 2014 and 2015. Now I'm 19 years old by today and A380 is already stopped producing in 2021. But, A380 is still flying on the next 5-10 years or so.
I have visited the A330/340 production line at Toulouse and it takes just one week to assemble all the parts from arrival at the factory of fuselage sections (as seen in this A380 video), add the undercarriage and engines and perform all equipment tests. Finally, the aircraft leaves the assembly hangar a week later essentially finished bar painting in customer colour scheme and final testing of all flight controls. Then the interior is fitted before flight testing. Fantastic to see!
Feel the strongest nostalgia; When you're going to first school and started loving aeroplanes yet and your mom opens the TV at 7:30 AM (before a half hour for going to school) because a TV channel shows this video with Kanye West's Stronger. I can't remember how much times I was watched this when I 7 years old.. Best nostalgia for me.. :'')
@Gonergrat Absolutely, well said! A380 is a triumph not just in engineering terms, but also in working together. Something we should all be very proud of.
I’m simply in awe at what human beings can accomplish. To build a machine that weighs over 500 tons and get all that weight off the ground and keep it in the air for hours. 👏👌👍
A major engineering project! Great job! Having walked under an A380 at Oshkosh air show you realise how big the plane actually is. How does it stay in the air???
Rolls Royce Trent 900, they have a pointed spinner cone. While the GE GP7200 have more of a rounded cone in the inlet. They both have swirled painted lines to warn ground crew engines are running. Airlines have a choice of either engine option though.
Hard work of tens of thousands of professionals depends on these two souls, Captain and first officer and the lives of Captain and first officer and every one on board depends on hard work of tens of thousands of professionals.
i am curious whether they still transport the parts on the trucks via the tight streets as in video. if it's on some regular basis, i would not like to live in that place
In 100 years from the first flight that last 20 meters to an airplane that can carry 800 people in every part of the world... where will we be 100 years from now? it' s amazing what humankind is capable of...
What is also exciting about Airbus, is that this plane was made in four countries and assembled in Toulouse with workers from all four countries. It is an example of EU cooperation for jobs. It's nice considering for most of human history England, France, Germany and Spain fought each other.
thanks, cool video, does anyone have a video of how they make the sections so precise that they butt up against the next section? man, 1,000's and 1,000's of individual parts, pieces, nuts, and bolts, and then this huge beast gracefully and gently lifts off; amazing
@12drumup It even flies lighter then a A320... Science fiction is now Science fact, just look at this, can you even imagin how extreme futuristic this would look lik 100 years ago? The whole process of building aircraft like these is just mindblowing, simply beautiful to see how we humans advance in engineering. I bet even aliens would be under impression, even if they were more technologically advanced than we are.
And we all know some of the finest things in the world are built by hand, with little to know automation. Royce Royce cars, Bentley's , Lamborghini, Cartier and Rolex watches the list goes on.
@@2001COUPE Hands are overrated... Royce Royce cars, Bentley's , Lamborghini, Cartier and Rolex, all that is, just IT, thing! You do not need hand for most divine moment in our live - creating a new He or She, or both.
Love the A380. Really a pretty bird. Looks like the production process could use "just a little tuning". Reminds me of the phrase that a Camel is a Horse built by committee. Why build the thing for just 13 years?
a postman in airbus industry said : in the new generation of airbus planes ,the passenger will be able to open the window at cruising stage .airbus going to use AXB-5000 technology for this purpose.
No wonder they are stopping A380 production! the logistics of getting the parts to Toulouse for assembly must cost a small fortune. Saying that, it is a wonderfully engineered process.
@hmahindroo don't talk like this about this wonderful aircraft. there is no burning engine, excepted if you were on the flight where there was an accident, in 2010

I will never stop being amazed that these giants can fly through air.
I used to watch this when I was 3 years old
I’m 15 now and i can’t believe I am privileged enough to ride one of these every year🙏
thanks for sharing! now i can build an A380 in my house!
Lol😂😂

How big is your bloody house
It so sad that A380 program it's stopped now, after 13 years this big fella still the best in long houl filght

Always wondered how they attached all the parts together. It was riveting.
WOW! I finally knew how to build the biggest passenger plane in 7 minutes! Thank you so much for teaching me how to make this plane!
@DaTree Pixelated I don’t have enough parts to do it 😢
Helpful video. Now I'm going to build mine.
im studying in a aerospace institut(structural assembly) in Montreal,Canada and i cant wait to assembly planes...amazing video, thnx for sharing.
OMG, This was amazing!!! Love it!
It was
...well now that I know how to build one, I know what I'll be doing in my free time. I'll need a bigger shed though ;)
Awesome Video!!
@Gonergrat Absolutely, well said! A380 is a triumph not just in engineering terms, but also in working together. Something we should all be very proud of.
Wooo, that was really awesome.
Now that everyone can build an A-380 in 7 minutes Airbus will go bankrupt
😂
Simen R ironic considering they arent going to build any of them anymore
I was just going to say.... Give me all the tools and equipment, and I'll start pushing them out in record time!
But we need LOTS OF MONEY
Truly a masterpiece
Would like to see in real time - days/hrs/minutes - how long it takes to build mainly assemble all the pre-assembled members together.
the most amazing part is delivering the parts of the plane in the road
true
Excellent Vid' really enjoyed it!
What a classic, remember watching this in 08

France! You beauty 👌
That was awesome
I love this plane... Wish i could fly on some day...
Unbelievable ,speechless ,mind blowing technology I billions of salutes that country who has made this Godzilla machine
The final assembly line is in Toulouse (France), but parts are made in different countries. Airbus is an international Co.
+FrenchCrow Yes
its pretty amazing how they built that plane in 7 min
not literally tho
No shit
Vishnu Ananthkumar hahaha
It takes 9 months to build one. Don't know if you are joking or you are an idiot.

I grew up on this vid, its amazing
Love this video
Impressive!
that is amazing
music is fire, reason why I come back.
THANKS FOR A NICE VIDEO.
This plane is just amazing
LOVE THIS AIRCRAFT
nice work XD
Thank you very much for the valuable informations.
When production gets into gear Airbus will be making 10 of these adorable pupies a month, incredible!
A major engineering project! Great job! Having walked under an A380 at Oshkosh air show you realise how big the plane actually is. How does it stay in the air???
It looks insane, but huge wings generate huge lift to balance a huge weight.
One of da greatest invention in aviation good landing mechanism 1 day im gonna service A380
One of the dumbest aircraft built. No reason to build it.
great vid, thanks
The first commend in this video
Fantastic

Well, so much for this. Now let's see how one is shredded for scrap in 7 minutes!

+MassDestruction17 They do it at night, to avoid to disturb the residents.
I have been in FC from NY to Dubai . 13 hrz flight .. I felt like home .. I call it monster

Now I have the blueprints to make my own A380 :D
TOTALLY AWESOME, its like, small ants putting a large paper plane together :D haha
Wow. Watching them put that thing together, it almost looks like they planned out the construction ahead of time.
What is also exciting about Airbus, is that this plane was made in four countries and assembled in Toulouse with workers from all four countries. It is an example of EU cooperation for jobs. It's nice considering for most of human history England, France, Germany and Spain fought each other.
Five countries. Airbus's wing factory is in Wales.

And to think, about 200 years ago we only had horse and buggy!
i hope to work on this plane one day :)

A380 assembly looks way more automated than Boeing's, which is essentially built by hand

It's a great video, but could anyone tell me how many days did the technicians take in setting it up.
I have 8 minutes before my school, let's build an A380
Love the A380. Really a pretty bird. Looks like the production process could use "just a little tuning". Reminds me of the phrase that a Camel is a Horse built by committee. Why build the thing for just 13 years?
They just put them between the painting and the exit of the storage, idk why but it doesn't really matter, does it ?
@Gonergrat
uk, france, germany and spain. The wings are made in wales
@molotilkin07 Maybe that's why the QF engine failed last November; it was painted on.
And now airbus is scraping it forever 🥺
How many working hours does the plane need to build and deliver?
Vayyy beeee
Si apenas pasa entre la viviendas en un pueblo chico.no sería más viable hacer un libramiento?
Can i get the materials from amazon?
What engine is used Trent or GE
a postman in airbus industry said : in the new generation of airbus planes ,the passenger will be able to open the window at cruising stage .airbus going to use AXB-5000 technology for this purpose.
oh.. I see, Now I'm going to make one !
How long does an 380 assembly take?
Cool. How much to buy in sections?
0:26 - 0:34 - looks like the a380s saying...don't mess with me......
@MisterAdone NO.....made all over europe and assembled in toulouse, france. there is a difference!
My Best airplane
