Wait really? Wasn't the whole point of him winning cause the 8th gate night guy attack was strong enough to hurt Madara because it was just that much stronger of a attack than what all might had? Cause as I remember that form was literally the only thing able to hurt Madara at all.

easily one of my favorite death battles I've seen so far. the animation, the choregraphy, the music, how they both respected each other, and it's just overall fun seeing them go at it...
and both of them are two of my favorite characters so that's a plus!

@@mryoung6090 I would actually say Deku because of the movie (they used the movie in this episode in his background tab, where under notable wins it had Wolfram. ) In the movie he had a gauntlet that allowed him to use 100% of OFA without hurting himself, and his share makes him more powerful than All Might due to the mechanics to OFA. If they don't include it I'll set Rock Lee aswell

They only got two things wrong. The Hirudora isn't an actual beast, but an energy that looks like a tiger. The other mistake is that Guy didn't do the steps before doing the Night Guy kick.
All Might uses American names for his smashes because it's on purpose due to his friend, David Shields, and American inventor. It was explained in the Two Heroes MHA movie

They left out the part where guy bent space when he activated his 8th gate, even madara mentioned it and he wasn’t able to react or even do anything because of that
They also specifically compared 8th Gate Guy to Base Naruto. While not false, 8th Gate Guy is stronger than literally every form of Naruto except 6 Paths Sage Naruto. KCM2 Sage Mode Naruto working with EMS Sasuke with Jugo's Senjutsu buff still struggled to beat Juubito, and we know Juubidara is stronger than Juubito. Yet 8th Gate Guy was firmly beating Juubidara. Yes, he had help from Lee, Minato, Gaara, and Kakashi, but their help was minimal at best, and Guy was easily doing all the work.
@@juubi249 Guy definitely did not do most of the work, all he did was doing the hits. He would’ve died long before night guy if he didn’t have any help. Might Guy still destroyed Madara tho.
One of the researchers said that realistically, Guy wouldn't need to use anything past the 5th or 6th gate to win, but for entertainments sake, they had him open all the gates

They should be a little more careful what they do in the animation....But also they said in Death battle cast that Guy didn't really needed the 8th gate to win, they just like to showcase their most powerful move in the DB or it would be a boring fight if Guy just used 7th gate or 6th.

I can't see how all might even comes close to Guy. He definitely doesn't need the 8th gate. They just wanted it to be close so no one gets butthurt.
They mention in death battle cast that Guy didn't really need the 8th gate to win. They said the animation numerous of times doesn't depict the outcome but they will showcase their strongest move because its more epic. If Guy only used 7th gate, it would be kinda boring. Sam even mentions that If Goku fought someone weaker than him and didn't need Super saiyan, it would be a boring fight. They just like to spice it up by showcasing their power. Note: these are requested fights...So a lot of the fights are one-sided.

So something that comes up in almost every reaction of this Death Battle, everyone comments on Guy going straight to the 6th gate. So if fans remember the first 5 gates aren't all that interesting. With the first gate, one can use the Primary Lotus. The second gate is used to help heal from the first gate. With the third gate you enter in the Hidden lotus. In Lee and Gaara's fight Lee went to gate 5 to get out the maximum output he had. So Guy really didn't need to go through each gate since he could very easily go straight to the sixth gate with ease. The seventh gate puts a ton of strain on the body so Guy wouldn't go right to seven. The seventh gate is his main trump card but the eighth gate is meant to end everything. I am in no way calling anyone out or making fun of them. Sure it would have been cool to see Guy use either of the two Lotuses on All Might, but All Might is not an opponent to be taken lightly.
This many Seasons done with Death Battle and I think this is one of the few times, if not the only, where the two combatants fought one another out of shear respect for each other.

Remember, these are requested match ups by people that don't understand power scaling and just want their character to fight another without knowing the other could stomp them.

In case you all were wondering, the characters they showed in the teaser montage for season 7 were Sindel from Mortal Kombat, Crona from Soul Eater, Beerus from Dragon Ball Super, Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, Miles Morales from Marvel Comics, and Danny Phantom from ... Danny Phantom.
