I've got the same one.
I agree with you about the saw, it will work you!
Love when you do fast-forward. Damn you can move fast!
Watching PawPaw undo the fasteners in the grass, FIRST thing I thought about was my Dad telling me, never work over grass or a gravel driveway. If you do put some cardboard or newspapers, or something below, or you'll be sorry. He was right, of course I learned the hard way, instead of listening to his original advice. So watching, I already knew there was going to be a problem. Then 15 minutes later... I was right. Jayman...
Works pretty good. One thing about being retired. Nobody is your boss and you can take your time and work to suit your self.
I’ve been retired for about a year now and it is wonderful to wake up early every morning, have your coffee and study what you want to do that day.
PawPaw I have 2 of those and one gas pole saw we use them quite often around the house they do a great job.
Looking forward to seeing all your projects love your channel
Thanks so much!
Bob I love to watch you work time for me to take a nap hope you show when they deliver it
Can’t wait 2see the videos of setting up and moving in the trailer.
Morning, Paw Paw. I bought that exact tool in 1999.....to keep limbs away from our new home in Rhode Island. I still own it....use it occasionally here in western Massachusetts. First....Fiskar stands behind that warranty. If the part you need is no longer available, they have replaced the whole tool! That said, using mine, I have found it hard getting the torque pull necessary to cut, when it is extended to the 12ft limit. But....I’ve never used that saw addition. Looking at it a few minutes ago, mine is actually a “cross cut” blade.....and the teeth seem larger than your version. So watching your success, I’m going to attach my blade and see how that works. But you are correct in your assumption....it should last a lifetime, as I’ve only used mine a dozen times since new! BTW....really enjoyed that down-home bluegrass music. Kinda makes me - right now - want a slice of “real” country ham, a couple of “over easies”, a cup of steaming grits and some of my Mom’s (rest her soul) homemade sausage gravy on biscuits! (Forgive me, I just got back from Tennessee....my southern brethren sure know how to do breakfast RIGHT!!). Take care, Paw Paw....love those videos!
Yep, I have one just like yours. I have used it a little but not a lot because it is a lot of work. But does the job if you have the endurance. Thanks for sharing. Love the idea of the tractor trailer in the back yard.
Cool. Keep us posted on the trailer box storage. I've been looking at shipping containers also and they are pricey.
Will do!
They have started making tiny houses out of them and I have even seen some offices.
Those things are great, I got one for father's day, differnt brand. but I have used the heck out of it.
Another good one Bob!!! And we appreciate you as well!!! Thanks...Peace!!!
Bill
Great vid again, very informative and great entertainment, cheers.
Much appreciated
I have the same pruner. It works GREAT for trimming shooting lanes around your tree stand. Of course I never got around to that this year but it COULD work very well for that.
Harbor freight has a telescopic pole saw, chainsaw on a stick. Look into it for future cutting.
Yardwork is good exercise. I love doing it, you seem to enjoy it also.
Happy yarding.
I have that saw, but it is not long enough.
I love anything Fiskars. Back when I worked at Lowe's we'd take the Fiskars hatchets off the rack and slice sheets of paper with them.
I bought one of them and really like it (polesaw) not the trailer 😃
I have one of those I got 20 years ago still works good.
Great video pawpaw👍 I just cleaned up and sharpened the chain on my pole saw trimmer attachment. I love that thing for pruning but would require a ladder to have the reach of that fiskars🙂
I have the electric pole saw also.
I need a pole saw, just been putting off buying one.
Hello Paw Paw. Thanks for the review but i need you to come on for a visit and try it on a tree or two at my place, LOL Be safe Paw Paw.
PawPaw, I've got a similar pruner made by Corona. I replaced the wingnut that holds the blade with a nylon insert locknut. You'll find out why soon enough.
I've had several of these and my latest one is like yours with a finer toothed blade and I agree they have put too fine of a blade on there! My older ones had a much coarser toothed blade that cut twice as fast! They were all Fiskar brand as well!
I like the tree pruners, and agree with you on the fact that the teeth on the saw are too small.
As far at the trailer is concerned, I’d figure out some way to get that thing on some blocks about a foot to 18 inches off the ground, make me a good sturdy ramp to get things in and out of there. Whatever the case may be I’m sure it’ll be interesting to see how it all works out for you.
Good luck on your project, and God bless you Bob!🇺🇸
You need to get you one of them pole chain saws! One RUclipsr got the cheapest one Amazon had, and he said it did a good job for the price! Take care of yourself, you're breathing pretty hard. God Bless!
The slot for those was right next to this one........and it was empty......... it was also priced at ninety bucks !! I thought of doing a homemade version but haven't figured out how to make a chainsaw chain stay perpendicular to the limb.
@@DoingItCheap I've got a homelite brand pole saw that was 69.00 had it 14 years so far it's held up but gets heavy on the arms when on a 12 ladder cutting hard oak tree limbs only had to sharpen it twice.
Yes it is totally manual labor. And on the bright side, Fiskars will stand behind it. They replaced a rake for me a couple of years ago. Not near as nice as what I had, but, they do stand behind the product. Glad to see it worked for you.
❤❤❤
My only advice when using one of these is..... medium stroke speed. Any faster and you'll have blisters! LOL!
Had to laugh when Paw Paw dropped the fastener onto the grass. "15 minutes later." lol. I accidentally shot the jet of a carb. that I was rebuilding out of my hand with the air compressor. I was on concrete, but of course it flew into the grass. "15 minutes later..." I found it, so I can relate!
Great video PawPaw and great review, PawPaw I love watching your videos, there just something about the way you captivate me on whatever you’re taking about that gets my attention, you’re Awesome PawPaw. 👍👍👍
Wow, thank you!
Thanks, I just bought one. I going out tomorrow to try it.
I spent 35 hours pruning our trees this year. I borrowed a friends pruner which has a round pole and it wobbles all over the place when fully extended. I'm assuming the oval shaft will be much stiffer.
I just started the video, and I have one of those. I like mine. Waiting to see what you think about it.
HEY PAW PAW LOVING UR FIDDLE!!!
First video of your I have watched thanks for the review on this paw paw it has helped me make up my mind on this.
Great video, PawPaw!
Thanks !
DoingItCheap You’re welcome!
Well, I see your's is a black rope, and a lot more plastic than mine. Hope it performs as well.
Need a second crew to clean up the cut limbs after getting exhausted from the limb cutting.
LOL !!! I did get my ten year old grandson to help with that !
I like your hat.
Good morning
Morning
You can come do my tree lol
Make sure you put thick concrete or 4x4's under the landing gear, (legs), and you may want to put something under the tires. Otherwise it WILL sink in the ground and then you would have to get a wrecker to come lift it up so you can put something under it!
I don't have nearly as much experience as you, but I did drive truck for the military. We had big wood pads on a chain that stored under the bed for the legs.
@@DoingItCheap cool. Just throwing it out there as a reminder of weight vs soft ground. Maybe someone else would want to do the same, but not know about the sinking. Wreckers aren't cheap! Lol.
New Trump hat! Sweet
👋😊
👍😉
If we can get rid these greedy politicians and lobbyists, we may be able to get stuff made here again. Until term limits are a law, we are screwed.
I just bought one cause the small city in Maryland I live in sent me notice that there are limbs too close to the sidewalk. Now it looks like the limbs are from a tree on my property even though they are hanging over a sidewalk not on my property. I am too old and in bad health but hey don't have a free program for seniors too help with stuff like this any more , though a while back they used to. So i have to go out there and do this or get a 200 dollar fine. Yet they have money in this damn state for illegal migrants. Oh they'd tell you they have a program ,but it costs over 200 bucks a month to get in it.
Looks decent
Manwell labor - Manual labor 🤣😂🤣😂
For some reason the notification bell is disabled for me on your channel, it says this action is turned off for content made for kids.🤔
First!!!
nice
i reallly love that hat indeed he is the only way. i have this tool its ok but it feels like china biden made it
Didn't watch the video after noticing you're wearing a Trump hat. I moved on to another.
You just wanted to start drama. If you didn't, you would have just gone on without comment. You may go forth and multiply singularly. You have been dismissed.
I have one of those I got 20 years ago still works good.
