I fan-boyed so hard watching this performance. I'm glad there was such a focus on Dre. IMO Dre has been the single most influential person in hip-hop/rap. Without Dre there's no NWA and the gangsta rap that spawned from them, Dre was instrumental in Tupac and Snoop Dogg rising, put Eminem on, who then brought in 50 cent. Without Dre the entire music scene would be vastly different.
@Lydia there were a few gangsta rappers before Dre put together NWA, such as Ice T, but the subgenre didn't go mainstream until Straight Outta Compton hit and took the country by storm.
The show already made me smile soooo much, but you sir have brought tears to my eyes! Your happiness is so infectious, I was even dancing with you! 😁🤟 So happy to see you happy too!
I don’t even watch Football, but I tuned in to see the Halftime Show. All of the performers did amazing! They all inspire me to keep making my own music. I’m a rapper, but I’m not very good yet. I have to keep practicing. Maybe one day I can meet the artists who performed this year.
Hi eduardo, wow I love hearing the impact rap music has had since the early days. It’s brought us together and inspired other legends globally. Thanks, great comment.. peace and love always
They cut Snoops mic and Em took a kneel after being told not to. That’s like telling a lion not to eat a human. Of course they are going to do what they want. Great performance.
They didnt cut his mic....there's a delay for the audience, that cut out the word shit...Big deal. Big ups with the knee. What can the NFL do to a RICH white man... Absolutely nothing.
I love your reaction! This halftime show was amazing; definitely in my top 5 of all time. As I watched I almost lost my mind! I was surprised by Snoop Crip walking on a major network. Lovely! Loved every moment. I'm a fan of everyone on set. History making for sure. Wakanda forever! LOL!! Peace!
I absolutely loved the halftime show best ever🔥🔥 Loved them all big up Mary J, I've watched few reactions and urs is by far the best from over the pond Dublin Ireland 👍🇮🇪🇺🇸🇮🇪
@@mrnetworkrealityshow Really enjoyed ur reaction 2 that historic event my friend and we do get the magnitude of the culture getting represented over here, Longtime coming👍🇮🇪🇺🇸🇮🇪
Mary blige nailed that show and snoop dont even need to rap he is just to cool and layed back here voice dose not crack that voice so much power here scream gave me chills
Visually Stunning! Great to see hip hop fully represented, all songs produced, written and or co-written by Dr Dre (Producer extraordinaire), thus the lineup was amazing, they all did their thing, special shout out to Kendric Lamar he was spectacular in every sense of the word. props to the dancers/musicians-Anderson Paak (genius drummer) this show may or may not be the best, but it's a close 2nd if anything else...the night belonged to hip hop...one to go down in history fosho....bravo!
@@daphnechristopher7397 maybe true enough, but that sounds personal, this particular vliog is about the half time show/performances and you can't stop the reign.
Great comment. Only one correction though. Yes, Dre has huge ties with all these artists! BUT! He did not have his fingers involved with all the songs here. Marys No more Drama. Kendricks 2 songs, and of course Lose yourself was produced by Eminem. But each and every artist owes Dre so much
Legendary Halftime Show! 1 of the best if not the best (best imo but Michael Jacksons show legendary too but im too young to remember that) Eminem, Snoop and 50cent were amazing, Kendrick and Mary were great! The powerhouse on that stage at the end!
Lezgo 🔥🔥🔥 yesir Mike, knew ur reaction would be 💯 Fire, esp. when ya grabbed ur Bass! I feel ya, I saw after game too & was so hyped, I was “literally” jumping / dancin’ on my bed! THX’s TMRN ur the Best! ♥️
Im so glad these artist got their flowers for first hip hop halftime show. They could of pulled a Nba n bring in the newer popping artists, drake, jcole etc. goats for their time of course. But this needed to happen. Pioneer like Dre, along with legends like Snoop, Em, Mary and Kendrick. This had to happen before Nfl started to turn more to the nowadays popping rap stars. These goats deserved this
You can find some full live performances on yt and you can see when Dre starts 'still' the video skips bc snoop says 'shit' lol and I guess bc he hyped the crowd? Not sure but REALLY bad job of them editing the video. Great video from you though. Glad you enjoyed it. I thought kendrick fuckin killed it and Mary was amazing too
I enjoyed your point of view from the musicians side. Giving me another point of view to enjoy this masterpiece. I already knew you would kniw who the drummer was. I've never heard of him. So proud of my homies.
I come by your channel every so often, glad to see your reaction to this amazing performance. The only thing that got to me is that you (and many more reactors) just passed over the 'I ain't mad at cha' being played by Dré on piano. 'Oh look Dré is playing piano'... he's paying tribute to Pac 🥺🥺😭 I was bawling like a baby watching that the first time. Really enjoyed the rest of your reaction, you were beaming as hard as I was. What.a.show.🔥🔥

Dre didn't want 50 Em signed him
@Lydia there were a few gangsta rappers before Dre put together NWA, such as Ice T, but the subgenre didn't go mainstream until Straight Outta Compton hit and took the country by storm.
Don’t forget about him signing Kendrick. He wouldn’t have any of his albums out
@@lindanemnguni1621that is not true. Both wanted 50 cents. Here in Europe 50 cents and Eminem ❤🎉best

Bassist is Adam Blackstone and that’s his band. He does all the big live shows, Superbowl and Oscars etc. And on guitar was Freaky Rob. Great band.

The nfl was well aware of eminem kneeling and was ok with it they released a statement Monday I linked the article
Dr Dre himself confirmed there was no problem with em taking a knee
Rightly so...he should've took a knee
