this is a recap of the second project that we made, this one is much easier to understand now, because we made a lot of javascript code already, I can say that practice really makes evrything a lot easier to undertand. . . Daniel is the best teacher, its easier to learn in his lessons,,
Can we not use style.visibility = "hidden"/"visible" to toggle the menu, versus using the style.marginLeft property? Are there any downside of the first option vs the second? Thanks!
Thank you so much, i am struggling to keep up with the bootcamp and our tutor i think forgets that we are actually beginners, you have really made this make sense for me because you are showing the HTML and JavaScript connection
I am the one of them who doesn't leave a comment on a video after watching, but your video is making me, well actually, forcing me to write something. The way you teach, the way you talk, your expression, your simplicity are very appreciative. Something clicking with me after just watching two of your small videos. Thank you!
I know said this already in comment section of your previous episodes but can't help to say it again; You are an awesome teacher! Very talented one! Thanks a ton for your efforts to teach people.
Hello! When making an ecommerce site for example, Forever 21, how do you add new products to your site? Are we simply adding more gallery posts in our html file, or do we have to use another language like javascript or php? May we please get a tutorial on making an eccomerce site that includes adding products, creating shopping carts and credit card/Paypal checkouts, and add apps like you can do on Shopify?
Danial seems to explain things in a simplistic way, making learning JavaScript digestible. I'm a member of team treehouse and this is so so much better.
I was looking for the css on this tutorial..so I went on patreon. didn't find nothing there.. that's the reason I went on patreon, to download the code
Hi Daniel, I did reply to you on Patreon and re-created the lesson material for you to download. :) You haven't replied on there yet, so I'll let you know here too. Like I also mentioned in the Patreon reply, 99% of people come to my Patreon for files related to my project videos, since the "normal lessons" have little to no reason for requiring my material. But I hear your frustration, and will try and take time off my busy schedule to re-create the normal lessons too. :)
@@Dani_Krossing I figured it out myself. Long story short I didn't want to be so harsh. (Sometimes I get a little impulsive but I regret it after, I'm quite empathic) I'm sorry to hear about your wife's health issues and I hope she is gonna be ok. Will get back in the future on Patreon.
No worries. 😊 My wife is doing great today. It was quite a scare when I had to rush her to the hospital, but she is all better now after she recovered. 🙂
Make sure to read the latest Patreon post :) All my lesson material got deleted, so I'm re-creating and uploading them when people are having trouble with a lesson. All the details are in that latest Patreon post.
I hardly comment on RUclips videos ! But i must say this ! You are awesome man!! I love the way you teach !! I am waiting for the next video !! And by the way what does mmtuts mean ?? :D IT sounds funny !!

I see that you started learning javascript about a year ago but where you at on coding currently? do you have a job or still studying?

Thanks, I used to create games on roblox with my little cousin so I learned LUA for that and it's kinda similar, so hopefully that helps me a little.
Daniel we can minimize the code this way too.
let toggleNavStatus = false;
const getSidebar = document.querySelector(".nav-sidebar");
const toggleNav = () => {
toggleNavStatus = !toggleNavStatus;
if (toggleNavStatus === true) {
getSidebar.style.width = "300px";
} else {
getSidebar.style.width = "-300px";
}
};
Cool video! Can you make a video on how to embedded speech recognition to a website
im struggling learning javaScript. it helps me a lot. not just that you delivered it so well. thank you
Not really about events but how to create a sliding menu....
Wish you could talk more about events not fiddling about other things.
I know said this already in comment section of your previous episodes but can't help to say it again;

Is it the same if I type menuBtn.addEventListener('onclick' ()=>) .....as compared to what he typed?
The add eventlistener is what I mean.
Can you show us a style.css code for this tuts? Thanks in advance.
I think this is the best tutor i have seen so far. I actually fully understand. Thank you.
Someone knows how to do it with addEvent Listener ?
Thanks so much, Dan for this great video. I've been waiting for this for so long. You still the best

Great! I now finally understand why sometimes () are not needed after the function. Understood it in a second :3
