Hi there , We now reached 2021. I hope we can discuss about engine reliability. Being a CVT variant, how would you rate the performance of the same against the naturally aspirated engine as provided by RAV 4? I wonder if a CVT engine can cover up a mileage of 200000 kms.

You are absolutely right. I'm not sure what I was thinking that morning, but I've boiled it down to one of three possible factors.
1) It could have been the thoughts of Renault & Samsung having an alliance that were running in the back of my mind that caused that slip of the tongue.
2) It could be the fact that Geography isn't my strongest subject.
3) It could simply be the lack of sleep before the shoot that morning.
I'll let you decide which one it was.

Between the three you mentioned, the Mazda CX-5 is definitely the best of the lot, with the Renault Koleos coming in second place and the X-Trail coming in third.
Having said, we suggest you drive all three cars and see which is best suited to you and your lifestyle.

The Koleos is built in south Korea, It is confusing the way it's phrased.
