In the KTM website says that you can see the temperature at a glance…I don’t know if they meant that the computer can check it for the general function if the engine. In my experience at the shop and riding, I feel like they are just not as responsive and quick as a carbed bike and now this bike. We have done every mod you can do to them and they get pretty good for sure but not as good. Also, we have taken a bunch apart at low hours 100 or less and had the cylinder all scratched up. I think it’s obvious that even KTM knows they aren’t great because of this complete redesign. KTM doesn’t usually switch everything so quickly. All that being said, I also know people like yourself who love their TPI bikes. It seems like they are inconsistent. Also, I don’t mind mixing gas at all.

    Things I don’t get:
    1. Why does KTM not give us a spark arrester screen in the silencer??? It’s needed almost everywhere and it’s not a performance issue. It’s so dumb. They should make the cap removable and give us the screen.
    2. Kickstarters!!! Why do they take them off 🤦🏼‍♂️
    3. Plastic radiator cap makes no sense. Why change the design of a tried and true cap???
    4. Personal preference, but I don’t get white plastics on a dirt bike. It’s hard to keep clean and shows dirt more.
