The Geek & Gorgeous is indeed the GOAT. There is absolutely no reason to use anything else (unless your skin gets irritated, of course). I do actually occasionally need to mix a few drops of another essence in with it if I’ve sensitized my skin.
Another cool and useful video, thanks so much, Sarah! SO informative! I'm currently working my way through my first Vit C serum, the one from The Ordinary you mentioned!
Thank you for the geek and gorgeous Vitamin C recommendation.. I got it a couple weeks and, Im loving it.
This is Gonna b so Helpful Sarah🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Friday😀….
Thank you. 🧡
Thank you for your lineup! What do you think about the Dr. Brenner Vit C oil which includes (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate)?
I tried and liked the Skin Deva but it was a bit too strong for me for everyday use so I'm going to try the Geek & Gorgeous one.
OMG-That was an amazing number of vitamin C serums! I haven’t tried the geek and gorgeous yet but I’ve never found a water based vitamin c that doesn’t irritate my skin. I think it’s the very low ph that many company’s use to get around the skinceuticals’ patent.
For the past 3 months, I’ve been using the Stratia C&C. I’ve had no irritation and haven’t had problems with pilling as long as I let it absorb a few minutes before I put on my next layer.
I'm using that Bubble Daydream, and it's nice. I like the texture and it seems to be making my skin look better.
I really enjoy the texture of the bubble as well. I've got to try their sunscreens next!
Thank you
Vanicream is my new favorite. I'm in love with it and the results. I do add 2 drops of the ordinary pycnogenol to one pump though. Thats probably contributing to the performance. I highly recommend for sensitive skin❤
Hi!
Just wanted to know if you ever tried Éminence Organic Skincare since you love Geek and Gorgeous. Thanks!
Melano CC is the most convenient and dependable vitamin C I can find here, and I love it!
I’m really interested in trying the cipher vitamin c serum. It’s really expensive but it has a unique micro sponge technology that prevents oxidation
I just found the elmt Pure Vitamin C 20% and really like it. Ascorbic Acid is suspended in the serum, so it isn’t activated until it contacts water. They recommend to apply to a damp face, so I just put it on after toner & essence, followed by sunscreen. Fragrance free & in a pump bottle. Loving it.
I used Timeless vit c and I’m happy with it
Thanks sara , been missing for awhile , had my lil girl shea already 6 months old its soooo crazy ! Trying to get back into a rountjne , my geek and gorgeous is oxidized after having it wayyyy to long , looking at all the amazon prime deals and thinking of trying the timeless one , after using g & g do u think the 10 or 20 percent would be a better choice ? Thanks as always , missed your chammel lots , gotta check up !
Curious what you think about Vichy vitamin C products
Please review Summer Fridays vitamin C CC ME serum ! 🙏
I cannot believe it, but you are right, I haven't review it yet so will definitely add it to mu list!
I’ve only tried the maelove and timeless, prefer the maelove been using it for years.
Going to try G+G next
I disagree with The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%. Yes it does feel oily, but it’s not oil. It took me while to figure out the right amount to use. Now I use two drops for the whole face, remember a little goes a long way. Dries up and absorbed pretty quickly. I wait 5 minutes before adding moisturizer then sunscreen. Thanks for the great video!!
What are your thoughts on the Reviv 36% Vitamin C serum?
I have G&G, Timeless (haven't tried it yet) and the Vanicream.
Can you please do a review of the Lush The Sunblock sunscreen wash bar? It's very confusing to understand how it works.
Heyyyyyy!!
I’ve recently dumped my “C” and use copper niod in the am, and never looked back!
Love timeless but when my skin is angry I use Peter Thomas Roth Potent C. Wondering your thoughts on the ordinary ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate 20%.
Can you put the Geek & Gorgeous around the eyes as well? Eg. All the way around like an eye cream? Thanks!
I typically get pretty close to my eyes but I avoid the upper and lower lids but use it everywhere else around the area. No issues at all.
Question... How do you bring down your ph level on your skin? Most cleanser are around 5 but vit c has to be in the 3 range to work,,,,, I use Geek and Gorgeous vit c my cleanser is Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanse
I bought the timeless vitamin C 20% with their 50% off sale. It's my first ascorbic acid vitamin C. I'm liking it other than the hot dog water smell.
I personally think if a product has to be kept in the fridge to prevent going bad then it's not formulated well or the packaging is not good enough. The fact that so many companies still use dropper bottles is cheap and lazy to me. Airless packaging should be standard.
i personally prefer the regimen lab vitamn x over the geek and gorgeous
I recently made a semi unusual purchase of the Dr Dennis gross vitamin c lactic acid lotion. It’s literally just a serum in a 1.7os it has ethyl ascorbic acid, THD, and ascorbic acid and a few other good ingredient’s. Curious what you think of that product
I did try that one a while ago but I remember actually really liking it and finding it helped Brighten my skin up a ton.
Tried a number of these, Geek and Gorgeous, Timeless, Dr Brenner, WIshtrend, Skinceuticals' OG forumula - 15% and 10%, and Drunk Elephant. Favs are Dr Brenner and Skinceuticals 15. Drunk Elephant is effective but it's very strong and not the best for summer months. If you're staying inside, you will see great results with it.
Dr Brenner is always a good one, and super affordable as well!
Skinceuticals STILL the GOLD STANDARD. But if it is arriving OXIDIZED return it. Demand refund!
The only C serum my face will tolerate is the one from Vanicream. It’s definitely not for everyone, because of its contents-low percentage of a C derivative, coconut extract. But my skin is okay with it. Maybe I can use something stronger eventually, but I’m glad that I can use anything.
Vanicream does a nice job making their products sensitive skin friendly. I tend to have good luck with them.
I was using La Roche Posay C serum but was told the PH was 5.5 and I should use Timeless C serum which is 3.5 I only use 10% though.
What was the 1st one I couldn't make out the name
Have u tried the Vegreen vitamin C yet I was looking at it and it kinda sounds like the farmacy water vitamin C
Oh yes, the one from vegreen is quite nice. The texture takes a little bit to absorb but it's very brightening and stays fresh for a long time!
Yay! Hug them boys for me! ❤
Great video, Sarah. Decided to splurge on the Skinceuticals vit c and it arrived yesterday. I ordered directly from Skinceuticals. Soooo disappointed!! It has oxidized before I even had a chance to use it!!! I will be returning!!! 😡
That is such a bummer, especially for an almost $200 product. I wonder what is going on with them, they should be making it fresh, it's the least one could expect.
@@NOBSBeauty ya, that price tag is really up there AND they make you pay for shipping!!! 🤦♀️😳 If you ever hear anything about what’s going on, let us know. I used your link and bought the G&G!
Still waiting for a review on the Provence Beauty vitamin C!
Oh definitely will, thank you for reminding me, enjoying that one too!
What do you think of Naturium's vitamin c?
as-KORE-bik :)
😁 😂 I haven't tried it, have you tried it before? Seems to have a lot of fans!
Haha! You know my fave.. I’m using the Nue Co powder mixed in the Peach &Lily glass serum. I will try the geek and gorgeous for $20.85 including shipping.
Is it OK to use Geek and gorgeous vitamin C everyday? I also use lactic acid too. Never together.
I tend to use the c glow every morning. If my skin is feeling sensitive (or I'm feeling lazy) then instead I use the niod survival or the Better Skin Alto Defense Serum. You should be able to use it every day without issues. Sounds like you're using the lactic acid at night which should be just fine.
Everyone talks about the Goodal vitamin c serum. Thoughts?
I’ve always wanted to try that.
💙💙💙💙
Morrican Oil has 25% off their liters on their site , I wanted to let you know cause I know u love that stuff and want a sale on it ;) not being a bad influence at all 🤣
😂😂 I'm going to have to pick up a backup since cameraman keeps using mine! 25% is a good amount, those liters are pricey.
💠
The vani cream is 5% THD
Thank you for the correction, it's very gentle, seems to work well for many people.
I enjoy in one from Geek&Gorgeous 🥰🙌🫶
