Some motherboards have updated BIOS support booting via PCIe NVMe.
Check your motherboard's latest BIOS update.
If you don't have one, use this tip
Make the Windows installer boot with the first USB flash drive
Like making a boot install on a Flash Drive
Prepare the Clover Bootloader with a small flash drive, just 1GB
The Bootdisk utility will install and configure Clover on a USB flash drive, but not configure the NVME driver:
Make a repair driver on the Clover bootloader flash drive.
Copy the NvmExpressDxe-64.efi file from EFI CLOVER - driver - to 2 other folders
EFI / CLOVER / drivers / UEFI
EFI / CLOVER / drivers / BIOS
When installed on a computer, it can be set via BIOS by disabling Secure Boot
NVMe SSD x4 PCIe 3.0 works with older PCIe 2.0 CPUs such as Sandy Bridge only supports PCie 2.0
Higher performance with a processor that supports PCIe 3.0
Meanwhile, for processors that support PCie 2.0, the transfer speed drops by 50%, compared to using a PCie 3.0 CPU

I have windows installed just like he has in the vid but today I tried installing ubuntu so to the same nvme ssd but my clover doesnt auto detect ubuntu and now I cant boot into it do you have any solution that could maybe help?

Betul kak, Kalau computer belum mendukung BOOT NVME. Beberapa model motherboard yang dirilis 2015, sudah mengenal slot PCIe dari VGA atau PCIe 4x dengan update. Tapi terbatas untuk model motherboard high end
Model lain atau dibawah 2015, kemungkinan tidak pernah mendapat update BIOS untuk NVMe PCIe.

What I'm saying is that no option can be seen in clover boot for M.2 SATA SSD.
I can boot the M.2 SATA SSD using M.2 to USB 3.0 converter but while using the PCIe port, it's not showing the option to boot it in Clover..

USB Flash drive must plugin into compute port.
Specially for old PC and BIOS dont support NVMe drive.
Flash Drive only help for detect your NVMe drive
After USB Clover Boot plug to your Computer port.
Select F12 on PC, and select UEFI Flash Drive (contain Clover Boot Manager)

We have tested with Intel B75 and Z77 chipsets paired with Sandy Bridge processors (2nd generation Intel Core).
It works fine despite being limited to PCIe 2.0. You can try using Clover Boot Manager. If a drive selection menu appears during boot, Clover Boot Manager is likely functioning correctly. However, due to hardware variations, we cant make sure 100% work for all chipset 🙂
