I'm also an editor and here's a tip from me. instead of making presets, you can create a sequence with adjustment layers pre-applied with your most used effects. Now you can simply drag and drop that adjustment layer onto your main timeline instead of opening up effects panel, searching for the preset then drag and dropping it. I have a small monitor with me which has that timeline opened up at all times. You can also save that timeline inside a project then make a template out of it (premiere's new feature) so you can open up that timeline with every project that. you open
7:01 one tip that I use to apply different zooms on my camera during the video: I duplicate my footage a few times, apply the effects like you do and use the MULTI CAMERA I enable the multicamera and use each track as a different camera.. So I can play the video and apply the different "jumps" just using 1 2 3 4 keys on my keyboard!
Dude you ARE my favorite creator ever. Informative, in-depth, helpful and no nonsense. Just say how I can help you back, since the clarity you have given me is flippen priceless!
Damn that thing where you duplicated the same A-ROLL multiple times for different effects, that is just phenomenal and I just can't imagine how much time and effort is it going to save. That's the best premiere pro trick I have ever seen and it would be really time saving and energy saving too because doing zooms and other tiny effects is the most boring thing in editing a video. Thanks Man :)
Thanks so much for sharing these tips! I've been making youtube videos and needed to learn more about video editing ---first came across your video about capcut. Your videos are so organized and easy to follow, even for a beginner--it's been really helpful! Thank you! :)
Definitely a life saver that will help me in speeding up my edits for my self-improvement channel. Thank you! I’ll be spending my weekends setting up all my libraries
Thank you for the tips in this video! I watched your video on creating Ali Abdaal style video and it was great. How do you get your source clips from the original channel to use it in your editing?
No problem! Happy to share :) for those I just use an online video to mp4 downloader (something like 4K video downloader or snapsave, there’s a lot of dodgy websites though so be careful)
Thank you! I've learned so much from this video, especially that shortcut trick of cutting multiple layers 😅. A content guide/recommendation for editor's PC setup would be amazing. I would appreciate a recommendation for a basic to high-quality editing setup. Cheers!
Hey man Awesome video Exactly the one I was trying so long to figure out Can you make a video on how to add text to emphasise the point in videos not subtitles in a more quick way with the effects applied to them It will be so helpful
Thanks for the comment :)) more regular content is coming! It’s my main goal for this year. Don’t have an active IG or anything else at the moment, but will let you know when I do
