I am new to the game. Playing for a few months and this video was extremely helpful in terms of strategy. I looked into speed tuning and even though NM and UNM that is required, I decided to use this concept on brutal (160) and improved my damage from 16M to 22M (both manual). I just do not have enough speed in my gear to overlap this boss on brutal with all my champions. Definitely a nice scheme even though Apothecary is going to be very alone from now on :-(
Awesome video to revisit. Just started cb hard but need 3-4 keys. My only Dec Atk is Reliquary tender 5/50 so I'm using royal guard 6/60. Should I switch him out? Is warmaiden viable at hard/ brutal? I run spirit host lead kael ult galek RG sinesha. Got MM 6/60.
I think weaken is very good, but since it doesn't work on poisons, it is probably more effective to dedicated a champ for it once you have tier 6 masteries. I think the sub-brutal levels of clan boss are mostly about speed/sustain and poisons.
Ouh nice covers it all :). Right now i'm running a double counter comp. Tayrel, Valk, Valk, Venus, Bad El. The goal is to get ridd of Bad El and deck people in ls gear. And get maybe in the future Altan ^^'. Doing 17-21mill on unm on auto.
What sort of accuracy is required for nightmare CB to land your debuffs. Currently I have Bad El, Draco, Vizier, Altan and Skullcrusher. I can see I need to speed tune and get accuracy up. Our clan just beat brutal tonight! Cheers
Would you say Yaga is better than Kael for poisoning? I can't seem to pull an OB or Steelskull so I'm using Kael on Nightmare for my poisons, which isn't enough in my opinion. Just wondering if it would be worth it to invest in building Yaga to replace Kael, or should I just wait and see if in the future I can pull OB?

Soooo here’s my question: Do i really need a speeder (Apoth, High Khatun etc.) in my team? Wouldn’t he throw off my speed tune for the Cb? Or do I calculate the speed of my team with that speed buff? Does decrease defense and weaken work for poison and HP burn? Or is it just for normal hits? Also, I think it should be noted that having more than one character that does HP burn doesn't really help because he can only have one HP burn at a time. Where you can stack poisons much better
Hi, great video. Quick question: Do you think Altan, Raglin, Rhazin, Juliana and Golden Reaper is a good late game nm and unm comp. I don't have a counter attack so I'm trying to build a tanky fast team that can survive with Raglin and GR lowering cd's ?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if your champion lands a weak hit it just ignores your champions acc rating. That beeing said there is always a chance for you to land debuffs even if your champion is at 30 acc and the boss is at 200 resist. Chances are pretty low tho like 2-4% or something like that.
Tuexiazz That's really frustrating. Elanaril, for example, has an hp burn that says "CANNOT be resisted", yet a force clan boss resists it all the time. Horrible feature, in my opinion.
What gear do you have on your team? Would have loved to see it. I just switched my Vizier to more Def based stuff instead of crit but I think my damage went down, the extra damage he was doing over the turns he was alive seems to outweigh the extra procs from surviving longer.
So you have a dec atk, 2 healers, 2 speed champs, and only 1 true damage champ. Isn't that too low of dmg? Shouldn't we sub one of the speed champs with Dmg instead?
I have Thenasil as my healer, and I noticed you said if you have a healer to not go life steal. What set would you go with kael then? Since he is the bulk of my damage lol

Brand new to the game. At what point do I start doing Clan Boss? I currently do not have any Legendary Champions and only 1 Epic. I do not have any 6 stars either. Is there a general rule of thumb as to when to start taking part in Clan Boss?
Great Content, Question if I do not have a counter attack champion is the speed threshold still the same? You stated those are the speeds for optimal speeds for counter attack.
Those speeds are to get the most benefit from Counter. If you dont have I would push speed up as much as possible with high def. Apart from someone who will be tour cleanse stun who I would stick at those speeds. More info in my discord

Have you put together a list of recommended stats for the different levels of CB similar to the speed recommendation you put into this video for NM & UNM, but including ACC, Defense and any other minimum recommendations? That would be an incredible reference as we grow our accounts. I've search the web, but haven't found one yet.
My current CB team pulls about 20mil average on NM (Duchess Lilitu, Tayrel, Frozen Banshee, Longbeard, Cupidus)... I am considering working in Black Knight or Prince Kymar. Would it be worth burning all my legendary books and resources to max out either of these champs for CB? If so, which one? and who would they replace?
No, because less ATT for the CB is more than increase DEF on you - he has more ATT than you have DEF... you get the most bang for the buck by working with the higher number :)

Thanks for the guide . After tuning my gear around and swapping over to use apoc. On hard cb damage went from 9-10mill to 12-13mill a key. No counter attack champ yet tho 😑

Honestly early clan boss you should just max stack poisons until you start pushing into brutal and begin picking up masteries. You would be much better off with 3 poisoners in that normal run rather than hoping to keep a decrease attack up when you simply can't.

I thought I saw a Corpse Collector. I used her for a while before Occult Brawler dropped. Without masteries she still gets 1.5M damage with her poison. Give her a try.

I have the literally the same champs with kimbal for clan boss. But my nightmare damage is only about 8-10m while he does 25m :( please help with my gearing
Problem is that all the comps past a certain level are with counter attack. Don't have that? Tough luck. If you don't have some amazing legendaries to offset that (and it still wont be even close) you just can't get there... it's by far the nastiest rng factor in this game having the only viable cb comp be locked to 3 champs...
...read a book, or even a poem: & tell Ash, HH, and othercontent creators! (apart from Stew, who seems to have a reasonable balance between maths & literacy & spelling)

Lots and lots of patience and energy my friend.. It is completely random what you get and you just gotta be lucky to get it.. My advice would be to go on Brutal mode for that mission as you're allowed both Hard and Brutal.

Kael is better overall, and a more reliable poisoner with a stronger version of poison IIRC.

LiquidFiend yeah only 1 hp burn can be on at any time. Def down and weaken doesn’t effect poisons or hp burns

Why is increase defense so much less important than decrease attack? Intuitively they should do the same thing, no?
No, because less ATT for the CB is more than increase DEF on you - he has more ATT than you have DEF... you get the most bang for the buck by working with the higher number :)

Taurus is actually fine if you have lifesteal gear on. Not endgame but if you have early he can lay some decent poisons

Problem is that all the comps past a certain level are with counter attack. Don't have that? Tough luck. If you don't have some amazing legendaries to offset that (and it still wont be even close) you just can't get there... it's by far the nastiest rng factor in this game having the only viable cb comp be locked to 3 champs...

Lots and lots of patience and energy my friend.. It is completely random what you get and you just gotta be lucky to get it.. My advice would be to go on Brutal mode for that mission as you're allowed both Hard and Brutal.
