At this point, every future video should say “just before remodel” in the title as that tends to be the case now 😂
I love the aesthetic of the store, it feels modern and retro at the same time! Thanks for visiting Chris!

YEAAAAA!!! MY LOCAL, THANK YOU CHRIS
i LOVE that old silver sears sign behind it !
OMG I LIVE NEAR THIS LOCATION AMAZING VIDEO CHRIS
I just went here today and it’s still a phase 4 just with new games and a new ticket blaster
Oh really? I was told it got remodeled.
@@SetsStreetsEats maybe it was another location
Middletown NJ is getting their 1 stage with a turntable removed today
Ironic to see a Sears nextdoor i worked for Sears right before its closing. So much nostalgia in the video. Really love this stage.
2.0 IS SUCH A VERY BAD IDEA BECAUSE WITH THE VIDEO WALL, IT COULD MAKE OUT TEARS COME OUT BECAUSE I TRIED IT IN NORTHRIDGE, BUT WITHOUT IT, IT WOULD JUST BE LIKE Johnny’s incredible pizza!
This location is so interesting 💚 thanks Mr. Powers for your video :D
This is My local now since monroeville shut down, and since monroeville shut down, my job went along with it! My old manger is now there, I could have gone there too! But the drive is 40 minutes there and back for me, so I just go when I visit Westmoreland mall! I miss working at CEC, but yay! I'm glad you went
There's also ones in pittsburgh and bridgeville
@@Cecnorthernohio both are 30/35 minutes away from me the opposite ways 😭
@@buggietheweirdo8812 i did not realize that
I rarely go to those
I definitely recommend going to the Bridgeville store. It is sadly a 2.0, but they have really nice employees and good games
Yesterday I got to see my first MMBB in Hicksville. It was truly an incredible experience I'll never forget. However, it also opened my eyes as to why CEC is doing the remodels. The whole time I was there, only one little girl was interested in watching the show. Everyone else wanted nothing to do with it, even when their parents tried to bring them up to the stage. When they did the Me and My Friends live show (which the animatronics perform with) all of the kids were around the live Chuck. I think Mark has a point with the 3-8 year old kids no longer feeling the magic of the show. I think they did the right move with saving the 5 stages for fan destinations, however after what I saw in that store, I agree that animatronics in every location is not feasible in today's market.
I think it’s because they play the exact same songs over, over and over again. at the tinley park illinois Chuck E. Cheese they played old shows in which got people back into the showroom and when they played modern songs people just left
@@mechaitheracer2563 This is a good point. I did enjoy hearing the modern songs, but it was probably because it was my first time in a CEC in over 10 years and I was just happy to see the show. Unfortunately, once CEC realized they could write originals and save a fortune, there was no going back to the covers.
@@LiamCherkasky They also lazily program them now if at all, and the showroom with dimmed lighting really kept your attention, not to mention the abudance of songs and ads in between the CEC songs. They're purposely sabotaging and trying to victimize themselves
@@Scrunky-jfif Yes I definitely noticed that. I hope with at least one of the new retro stores they reintroduce dim house lighting. They used to do skits, even in the rockstar era. Now it is ad, ad, ad, Kidz Bop, MMBB, ad, ad, Kidz Bop, ad, MMBB, MMBB, ad, Kidz Bop, ad, Kidz Bop, etc.
there's a whole multitude of reasons why the kids doesn't care about the robots, it's mostly the lighting like one person said, it's also the horrible conditions they're in and not to mention all the originals they do which gets people to go away, instead of removing stages, why not just do the things people LIKE with the stages?
Also general question, did they remodel everything? I was just there memorial day weekend on Saturday and Chuck was still there but there were a lot of new games! He was still on random movements
No they didn’t remodel yet
Can you tell me what games are there?
Like the Billy Bobs in the intro
Well, got a date for the remodel, it should be happening June 17th
No😢 they've been apart of my childhood
@@Agentjaywalker well greensburg’s remodel was delayed don’t know when it’ll happen now
We need to start a #savetheroadstage or something to save one of the last two remaining Road Stages in North Carolina!
This is actually called a studio c beta/Cappa stage mix. These are extremely hard to come by today because they only installed a few of these.
You need to go to the Volo Museum to see their Rockafire Explosion
Nice Chuck E Cheese store they have thanks for sharing with us 👍🙂
Another mall-attached CEC! The one I went to was similar, but the only dead anchor that was there was Macy's. The Target next door to CEC is still going strong at Eagle Rock Plaza, Los Angeles.
I enjoy your videos
Thank you, I appreciate that!
@@SetsStreetsEats you’re welcome
Very interesting looking stage. A Studio C Beta back drop behind ChuckE ( seriously what is that supposed to be lol) but it had the Studio C Cappa blue screen and tv monitors. Was this a Beta/Cappa hybrid?
I been to cec when I was kid
amazing video as always!! are you perhaps going to the volo auto museum to see the rockafire premiere there?
Sorry, I had to work in Des Moines during it.
@@SetsStreetsEats no worries! its in great condition, you should totally see it if able :)
Today I went to the mall and saw gray and black paint on the front of Chuck E. Cheese but I went and checked there was no animatronic
What a unique looking exterior! I hope they kept it with the remodel

Hey, Chris! Have you been to the Chuck E. Cheese in Takoma Park, MD? It has a Circles of Light stage with a Studio C bot. I went there yesterday and it was awesome!

I think this is the last location to have replaced a MMMB stage, I think it was a 2 stage
Also it’s a cappa not beta
What was a 2-stage
@@Korbs64 cyberamic stage, Chuck alone in one, Helen and the others on right
@@SMB5BMI shoot I meant what 2-stage as in were was a 2-stage
