I am italian.I was born in Germany.I return to Germany last years.I visited Aachen and i fell so good in there days I was home. So calm and green cities,so modern and whit a ancient heart.That city is amazing and remember until 70years that city was in the rubble of WW2. I used to study at the RWTH, It was a quiet little beautiful city. I enjoyed the stay there. People were very welcoming.

It is captured in winter actually :) and the word spring also means a water that come from the ground, like a well.
Ah, now I get it, Aachen's warm mineral springs :). But then it should better be called "City of Springs" to avoid confusion with the season.
