I just had to do it. When I was watching this movie for the first time in the theater I literally pictured myself making an edit of them. THE CHEMISTRY??????? It was incredible, so tense, I just know Frank had a crush on Joey because the way he was looking at her....

oh my god, this is WONDERFUL!!! i loved so much about this film but was so especially drawn to the bickery, TENSE energy between these two, which i haven't seen any posts about, until finally, you have gifted us all with this MEAL!! thank you for this. i think frank wanting joey as his puppet was definitely him Being A Dick, but also just wanting to /keep/ her and knowing this was the only way to do it. so i loved that you also highlighted how his turn and his wanting to turn her were foundational to their dynamic too.

yeah, I feel like him turning on her wasn't unexpected but it still felt weird. I think vampire venom has made him more evil
