This is Muse's best performance of Micro Cuts in my opinion and I've spent most of my afternoon watching every live performance of it I could find on RUclips. It beats the rest. Gives me shivers.
Your beloved artists EXISTS considering that people had taken a opportunity to listen to these guys! *watch?v=kFDMJa_fZt0* Almost all I could say is impressive! RUclips this URL and enjoy!!
Sorben `Ilya` Erikson there both as awesome as each other but I love watching live just to see the variations and the actual impact the songs have on people
Yes. In this live version you can really feel the original inspiration of the song which is, according to me, very lyrical/operatic. It sounds like an "aria" but distorted and electrified. Something spirited with delicate melodies but mains connected. The contrast is so clever and powerfull plus Matt is really into it, he hardly sings anymore but it's on purpose. It's all in the feeling. You could think it's a noisy mess but it's not. It's a masterpiece of rock music.
i’ve noticed how I always come back to this song every few years. Soulscreamer’s vocal. Operatic and theatrical effect. This song defines a genre of its own.
one of their very underrated song .. sadly.. this "artful, EPIC, giant-operatic" song is like it's coming not from planet Earth .. but from other planet origin .. !
SnakeEater866 On "The 2nd Law " .. there is no song called "The 2nd Law" .. and on "Black Holes and Revelations" .. there is also not a song called "Black Holes and Revelations" .. only a lyrics line in starlight is "Black Holes and Revelations" :) .. what I want to say is that "Origin of Symmetry" is not the only one :3
No, there isn't a song called The 2nd Law, but the songs Unsustainable and Isolated System quote what is known as "The 2nd Law of thermodynamics" and I'm pretty sure that that's what they named the album after. And that is true Black Holes and Revelations is named after their song Starlight because it says "Black Holes and Revelations" in it, just because it doesn't share the same title it doesn't mean it's not named after something in the album. Just like how Absolution does not have a song in it called "Absolution" but there is "Sing for Absolution"
In other versions of the song you can hear the lyrics if you know them. For this version he doesn’t even sing over half of them lol. Still works though
current music scene: "we are going to play the exact copy of ouwer studio album live". MUSE: "the fans can hear the original at home. we wil give them somthing epic when we tour".
@deviledeggs123 they are playing all of origin of symmetry at reading and leeds festival, i think it's exclusive, they are retiring some of the songs as well.
this song's surely was the best "Jazz" song ever performed in any Jazz festival
Yeah, doesn't get much more jazzy than Micro Cuts
This is my favourite comment on any Muse vid ever hahahaha
Why the apostrophe?
It's not jazz.
@@Discrimination_is_not_a_right that's the joke. they're saying that because it was performed at a jazz festival
Probably the best live version of this song.
With Hullabaloo oen
Without a doubt
This and Reading 2002
I’m not a huge fan of the verse sections having that much distortion but still an excellent performance
Lyrics:
I've seen what you're doing to me
Destroying puppet strings
To our souls
What matt really sings:
I seeeeiauieauieauieaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen whachaaaa dooooooooooing meeeeeeeee
Dstrooooooooooying puppestriiiiiings
To our sooooooooouououououoououououoououououoououououuuuuuuuuuuuuls!!!!!!
this is so true lmao🤣
Christ! from 2:05, Matt going mental, the crowd going mental, everyone in the zone, I'd sell my gran to have been there!
Whoa, keep your gran and sell a kidney. Haha
2:06 holy shit, that scream is even better than the Hullabaloo live.
@Виктор Хуго Алварез Дамaссено good lol
This is Muse's best performance of Micro Cuts in my opinion and I've spent most of my afternoon watching every live performance of it I could find on RUclips. It beats the rest. Gives me shivers.
Le Zenith 2001 (Hullabaloo) is one of my favourites.
I was there physically and I remember I couldn’t believe how they managed to sound so gooood and heavy live
He sings like an angel. I like their live performance better than the studio version of their songs.
Your beloved artists EXISTS considering that people had taken a opportunity to listen to these guys!

Generally yes, but here I think the guitar is too distorted.
+SnakeEater866 yes, it's muse rule bro..
Sorben `Ilya` Erikson there both as awesome as each other but I love watching live just to see the variations and the actual impact the songs have on people
Holy crap... This is so awesome it makes me want to cry.
how can anyone say that bellamy doesnt have the most insane voice ever
Because he was inspired by jeff buckley .... You must listen Grace and you'll see what i say

I guess you could say its from an, 'origin of symmetry' ba-dum-tss
Theherrderr ~ Muse Drum Covers It is the only album that is not named after one of the songs in the album, maybe that's what they were going for.

SnakeEater866 That was a weak substantiation....Ahhh, kids these days...
this is the best jazz music ever
Soft jazz 🗿 (Muse style, of course)
That scream at 2:05 though!!!
This version of Micro Cuts is better than the recorded version ! We feel more emotion mostly at 2:05
It's kind of depressing to think that even if I'm lucky enough to see this song live it'll never be as good as this
this is so intense it makes me wanna jump around and cry from excitement
I don't think I'd be able to reach the even lowest note in this song! He's unbelievable!
there will never be another voice like that
lyrical fury in the key of pain and desilusion. Absolute Masterpiece.
he is the most talented musician of all times no one can convince me otherwise..
Possibly the greatest performance of Micro Cuts of all time.
Eternally the best live performance of MC
THAT SCREAMS.
This is so kickass it's insane
there's just a simple word that can describe this performance:
breathtaking
long time i dont hear ths song.. but now i hear, i cry... i dont know why.....
Suzhy Suzana I know this is 4 years later and you probably won’t see this, but why did it make you cry?
SynysterBullett bruh he just said he doesn’t know why
me too
Seriously, THIS IS MY FAVOURITE LIVE SONG
He's the only one who can sing this.
in the chorus, thats he's real fucking voice? o_o thats amazing
How is that even possible? Holy shit.
I love the whole concert !!
One of the best !
At 2:54 you can't say if it is the guitar playing or Matt singing...:)
no lyrics needed...
I refuse to believe this song even has lyrics. That poem in the cd booklet is just random words assigned to the song
In other versions of the song you can hear the lyrics if you know them. For this version he doesn’t even sing over half of them lol. Still works though
Why sing the lyrics when you can scream inarticulated
oddio che performance..che canzone...MICRO CUTS è la mia preferita..
Devine. Mammoth. Sublime. And that's just the singing. Matt's guitar performance is earth-shaking!!!
Holy FUCK that scream 2:08 - CRUSH IT MATT!
Dear God, these men are geniuses
1:05 man... that scream is amazing!
Omg what a setlist!
completly insane, cant get any better omfg
That hair.
This is why I fucking love Muse.

Their greatest song in my opinion.
Montreux jazz festival scream > hullabaloo scream
Incredible ❤️
Such a great performance. So much emotion
Good god, muse is perfect
What is he doing with my heart? .. just splits into pieces!...
Nothing can be more weirdly amazing...
