here, am i the only one who is still confused about the question? the maire has decided but not yet implemented. And here the response is given considering that the maire has already done. the response should be in hypothetical manner and the sentences should be used in future. like if you do this..... this may happen etc. Please correct me if i am wrong !

I understand your point of view, but you have to pay attention to the details without overthinking. In the original text, it is written "Le maire de votre ville a décidé d'ouvrir..." indicating that it's in the past, and the action is completed. If it were still a project, the entire sentence would likely suggest the future, like "Le maire de votre ville a décidé qu'il allait bientôt ouvrir...". Without further details suggesting the action would be in the future, the action has already happened, and you are experiencing the consequences. This is why you are unhappy and need to write to the mayor expressing your dissatisfaction. I hope I've made it clear. If not, you can always write to us. Also, you can share your writing exercise with us, and we can review it together to see if your letter makes sense regarding what is expected for the exam. Best regards.

Please consider English speaking people trying to take the test and be precise enough to make it more simple. Sincèrement, je suis un peu confuse 😢c’est trop vite pour moi

Hi Gifty, I perfectly understand you. It's hard for a new learner to get this level, but this is the level of DELF B2. We constructed our lessons in order to make that exam easier for everybody. So the preparation is the main key and I can prepare you for this kind of exam. It's fast, I know, but as I said in the very first part of this series, it's the final exam of DELF B2 and not the preparation. Our aim is to make this exam so easy for you that you will get the highest score possible. Because , it's just an exam and even if you are B2, that doesn't mean that you will be able to perfectly speak French with French people. Our classes and our books help you not only to be fully prepared for that kind of exam, but also be prepared for every day French.
Thank you for following us and please stay tune because very soon we'll present all of our work from A1 to C2.
For now, please consider this video as a final exam simulation and not the preparation for this exam. With a good preparation, such video will be so easy to understand for you. If you have any questions you can write to us via contact@frenchwithlove.com, and not to miss our next project, please do not hesitate to let your email address on our website www.frenchwithlove.com : Quelque chose de magique se prépare... Take care! Benjamin.
