Idk if this sounds weird but back then when I was a new Army,this is the first ever performance I started to get interested in Jungkook and his sharp moves and still after so many years,I couldn't get over of it. This performance on Jimmy Fallon show is so special to me and everytime I see this,it brings tears to my eyes. Time flies so fast✨
For me, it's the Idol performance in this show is what made me an ARMY. Actually, it was really JK and RM's moves at the start that had me saying to myself "damn, they're so good". And the first three nights from that day, I would stay up until 4am because I was binge-watching all videos of them I could find. Watching this also made me reminisce about the amusement I felt when I found them. 💜

im so touched by your genuine reaction... not only to BTS but in general. You really do feel the songs and seeing you form a connection to BTS is so heartwarming. There's nothing weird about it, their specialty is making people feel good. The reason they're so big is because they truly touch people's hearts. My mother is nearly 50 years old and although our life is kinda messy right now we both get so much strength from BTS... not because we know them but because they try so hard to convey a message through their art and light up people's lives and it really does happen... I've seen people from different ages form a connection with them. Its really a miracle if you think about it, so I'm really happy watching your reactions to them.

The lyrics are so beautiful. 10:37 when you notice that it’s Jungkook behind Tae but they are so in synch it takes someone pointing it out to see. 🤯 Namjoon, Suga and Hobi are incredible in this song and show why the are the best rap line ever. JK, Tae, Jimin and Jin sing beautifully showing they are the best vocal line ever even in such a fast paced song. No-one else compares or even comes close. Also Tae went Viral on this show.

Holy shit the way jungkook moves is just on another level. He is so powerful that his pops and hits are so clean it’s ridiculous!!!! So powerful yet so controlled and smooth … I love when they drop down to the beat of the music together during rms part… it’s so satisfying !!!
But yeh I remember watching them do this on an award show and bc the choreo is so fast with so many jumps and spins…. It’s something you need stamina for days in… I just remember being blown away by jk bc everything is flawless while even the main dancers look not as sharp as he does in the same parts… they all have their strengths and hobi and jimin are on another level dance wise.. like the music becomes part of their movements in a way no one else can… but stamina and sheer power especially with leg moves and jumps is just jungkooks bread and butter… he’s unreal in stuff like this, best of me or his solo for “begin,” and he just shines in stuff like this.
BTS will always shine and be iconic w every move they make… but he really grabbed me and would t let go here lol

actually this live performance was the first time i heard bts but i only watched the idol song and it was on repeat for days i thought it was their only hit song but then i got to see more mv and everytime they blow my mind.
how come they can pull off any genre it´s never cringy it always work for them.
and i think part of it is because of Suga he hates doing the same music he is a producer.
and want to do so many different song styles.
and it helps that all the members have different tastes and skills to be useful for that specific song.

Yeah, the first part of I'm Fine is music from Save Me. They are sister tracks. There are live performances out there where they performed Save Me straight into I'm Fine. You should check it out.

and yes totally agree BTS stopped being kpop at that time. i would also say that Wings era was their starting point. the title track blood sweat and tears are kpop but for lie and the rest idk i am not a music person idk genres and all of that.
but to me BTS has never sounded like other kpop groups out there. not even their first songs and i think that´s why they started becoming famous from the start.
but back then kpop was still unknown so army's had to translate lyrics for foreign fans to Conway msg in the songs. fans was very passionate from the start because og RM and Suga lyrics.
After Spring Day, this was second song I had to learn the Korean lyrics so I could sing along. (Except for Suga's rap, he's too fast for me 😂) Love your reaction 💜
