You said to go back to your first videos, so here I am. Once again congrats for everything! For your power of will, for your exemple, for the videos you're doing until today. Hugs from Chile!
Seeing you riding a 200 mile Gravel-Race 10 years later indicates that your love of riding a bike was exceeding even your wildest expectations. You are a beast! ❤
I agree with Katie! I got a bike a few weeks ago and have been enjoying pleasure rides and running errands. Get a bike people, you'll stay healthy and feel young again!
I love the thinking here. I started riding a few years before you and felt/feel all the same things. As for saving money and having sorted your transport costs once you've bought the bike ... thought that too .. N+1, great to see where you started out from tho, similar to my own journey :)
I'm working up to being able to ride my bike to work. I've mapped out a route that is a bike route but will have to cross some major streets. Traffic makes me anxious.
Hi Katie I love your videos they have been an inspiration for me I very been suffering from a back injury for 4 months now and I've gained heaps of weight I used to be a really active person running walking and I teach swimming so I was in the water everyday and would go for swim after classes but because of my back injury and the fact that I'm not standing straight I was sitting all day and I was getting really borred I started gaining weight which caused me to become very depressed but then I started to wonder if cycling would help if asked my physio if it would be bad for my back and she said no infact it would help me so i watched on you tube if their was any really proof if you can loss weight by cycling and that is how I found you i am very impressed with your progression and I'm going to start as well on my home trainer
sorry to hear you had a back injury. They aren never fun and so frustrating when all you want to do is be active. But now you can get on the bike go for it. Phil Burt, former Team Sky physio says the bike is one of the best things for helping many injury issues. So first off make sure you get a really good bike fit! You don't want that to aggravate it more so make sure you're in a good position on the bike. Then make it fun. Join a club, or ride with friends, or just make your own riding group. I lost 30-35kg from riding and eating clean i.e. plant based diet and it's been the best thing for me. I look forward to hearing about how you get on! :) Any more help or advice just ask.

I know I know, just need to do it already. I will probably wait until I'm back in the UK so not having to carry extra pairs of shoes. Did you get used to them quickly?

I can really relate to this video, commuting to college takes me an hour via bus whereas I can cycle in about 45 minutes at a relatively slow pace!
