I totally agree with you that Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean smells oceany ! I really love it, and the other night I sprayed it on before bed and in the morning it smelled just as wonderful 😍 ..and it’s another pretty blue bottle to display! In fact I even keep the box for that one out on display haha (by the way I did end up ordering Chant and hopefully it will be here in a couple of weeks!) 😃

I have to say the scent is totally perfect and the notes are so well balanced and it is everything I hoped it would be!.. *except* it has no lasting power on my skin- and trust me I have soaked myself like Ange and still it doesn’t last more than an hour or two on me. 😔 oh well! It does smell absolutely beautiful while it lasts and I’m happy to spray my days away for as long as the bottle lasts 🥰
Oh no!! I'm sorry to hear it doesn't last. I get a good half day wear out of it. I will say, there are times I'm convinced a scent has faded but others can still smell it on me. For some odd reason Aqua De Gio , D&G Light Blue and some other sweet citrusy ones I can not tolerate. But I do love a real fruit-like citrusy fragrance like Aqua Allegoria’s line. I do like Marine, Oceanic salty fragrances though.

Do you remember Focus 21 Hair & Body Moisturizing spray? It came out in 1980, and they were supposed to bring it back in 2020, but I think Covid halted production (it disappeared around 2012). It smelled like the ocean, and was the perfect thing to spray all over yourself after a day at the beach. If they ever bring it back, it’s a fun & nostalgic find.
@@VeronicaSays Uggh, no kidding. It used to cost about $10. And the matching Sea Plasma shampoo was good too. It gave hair a lot of body. But I saw someone is making a dupe called Beach 21 Pacific Plasma. I’ll have to try that and see how it compares.
I came to get your thoughts on Mediterranean but that bottle for the Natsumi Is beautiful and the beginning of my name starts with "Nat" so I love finding things like that haha. I will be reading notes and reviews on that one. I also have Shi and was close to selling or giving it away even though I like it. Then just as I placed it in my give away pile I had an occasion where I wanted to wear it. Before the pandemic when I traveled for work I'd wear it on my flight days. I just picked up Mediterranean tonight and am testing it but so far I enjoy it. It's blended very well and is not super special but it seems it may be one of those dependable throw on scents. I like the sandalwood and amber base, it tends to remind me of sand sun and skin. I got it really cheap so I am happy I picked it up to test. I got the 1 ounce for 10 bucks. I will test it more💕
funny story. so I got for valentines day, nina Ricci rose absolu....I wore it to the aquarium on my husband and I's date and now I always think of marine life when I wear it when it for sure does not smell marine like...lol

You're right! I struggled with this category the most, especially trying to distinguish between marine, oceanic, and aquatic. I do like Sailing Day quite a lot. It leans much more maculine to me, but it's wonderful.

Eau de lagons is one of the strangest fragrances that I have and I truly smell celery salt when I smell it. I never wear it but I keep it. 🥳🤯
