The look of resignation and acceptance on Lestat's face when he realizes his Louis is going to kill him is so sad!! He loves him so much he's willing to let him do it so he can finally be happy! 😭
One more thing...the scene at the party when Lestat and Louis were talking on the balcony before they dance...look at Lestat's eyes and how he looks as Louis as he talks to him. You can see clearly that he knows what Louis is up to and his eyes reveal so much hurt and sadness beyond what his words are saying...yet he still wants one last dance with his love. Amazing performance by Sam Reid.

Great video as always. Louis is so in love with Lestat that he ruined Claudia's genius plan so that Lestat could survive. Like Daniel said he will always choose Lestat time and time again. I can't wait to see Lestat and Armand fight for Louis in season 2 💙

That's why their love towards louis is so Toxic because everyone has done some nasty horrible things just for Louis's love. Even in the books it's bizarre how everyone wanted him so bad.

@@memoryisamonster What? What book are you reading? Armand hates Lestat thats why he betrayed him and pushed him off of a building so that he could have Louis for himself. Almost everytime Armand is trying to get revenge on Lestat just because of the fight that happened between them and Armand got defeated. They don't trust each other and they hate each other.
I was thinking the same thing. Louis can’t catch a break and wondered why everyone wanted him. The book readers mentioned the human side, self control and beauty is what attracted them.
I just finished watching the last episode and my heart hurts. But it's a good kind of hurt. I'll be waiting for season 2 of this amazing series 😊🖤

Wow!!!!!! What an episode. There was some speculation that Rashid was Armand. I knew he had to be a vampire because of the flashback. That episode was awesome and Lestat's not dead. In my heart though, Lestat is the love of Louis life. Not Armand. Loustat Forever❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mon Dieu, I'm speechless, we can see how much Louis is in pain : having to "kill" his lover/maker 😭😭😭. Even though we all know Lestat survived, it's still hard to see that scene 😢😢😭😭😭.

these are the last 3 books Anne Rice wrote. there are numerous new characters that reappear in all 3 books. at first it seems overwhelming, but they reappear and it's worth it.
by far the most terrifying is Rosh (Roshamandes).
Akasha's son is in them. also, Amel and his entire story is finally revealed in all 3.

I did have a feeling though, that Louis’ reaction to lestats death was a little off.

I don’t think Louis did. I would have expected a lot more hysteria, desperation and of all things: love from him.
He loves lestat so much, and always has, even if he has made him suffer quite a bit.

Armand is definetly a very interesting and complex character , when Louis said at the end Armand was the love of his life, is when I knew Armand was messing with Louis head.
Yep. I agree. Louis wouldn't say of his own free will that Armand was the love of his life. He planted it in Louis head.
I also wonder if Louis’ unreliable narration and Armand’s manipulation can explain why Louis believes that he’s the one who has killed Lestat? We first see him slit his throat, but then as Daniel continues to push him we start to see how Louis actually held Lestat and cried over his body. He never released him like we initially thought. So is this part of Armand’s manipulation where he’s trying to convince Louis that him being able to kill Lestat is evidence that he never loved him. I think it was Claudia who did the deed and Louis prevented her from burning Lestat’s body because he loves his man 😘!

I really didn't think the movie could be matched or topped but they have been doing an astounding job. Now while I think the actors are all great I do think 1 is a little more skilled or at least plays the character....smarter. Still I am in love with the changes, costumes, etc. Just amazing.

Hate to say this. Interview with the vampire is a lie. Next book pretty much clarifies it. Louis is a lier. He never cared for lestat. Lestat unfortunately never gets true love in books other than Mayfair witch but he turned her down. I repeat Louis does not love lestat he tried to kill him. Betrays him over and over. Louis had chance to turn lestat into vampire under him when he was human turned it down.
They are mutually abusive but still inseparable. Louis is still a weak Vamp compared to lestat like the power imbalance is significant.
Also the real plotted of the murder is Claudia not Louis and he still grieves over 'killing' Les
