Resistance have the most coolest diverse units. All resistance units have their uses. If you find any unit useless then you clearly don't know how to use it.
You just don't know how to use the sniper. Mine can take out an above average upgraded assault or even a rocket launcher with just two damn shots.... Now imagine 20 snipers.... 10 infantry down per second
Sniper is good for spying in the forest like keep track of attacks to prevent them also wasp is dog$h!t its low key most weakest air unit l ever used and you forgot the mole tho
Wasp isn't weak, u just have to upgrade her regularly, she can collect loot, provide a boost to ur troops by corroding the enemies armor. And doing early game scouting and annoying the enemy.

Snipers have there uses. You can pair them up with jaguars to counter Heavy Assault+ fortress rush.
How are you gonna rush producing Jaguar before your opponent start rushing with Heavy assault and Fortress?

From design to capabilities the wasp is horrendous but oh well this is something that you typically get out of resistance engineers
