  • In this how to video; a guide in replacing the FRONT ABS SENSOR...
    Specifically for a Peugeot 407... (also the 508 I believe)
    However this type and method of replacement can be found/used on a number of Citroens and Peugeots....and even non french stuff!!!
    I hope it proves helpful.
    There are other methods and you may have other ways you prefer. That is fine. Just keep it safe!
    Thank you for watching, all likes and subscribers are very much appreciated, all comments are read and replied to as soon as I can :-)

    you are awesome.
    I need to look into why it shows both ABS and ESP errors on my 2007 407sw, after the brake hose got damaged and needed to get replaced (I bet it's the first time you hear about something like this). After replacing this hose, I get these errors and need to do the diagnostics, but could be oil from the brake hose (it was all over the place) and just needs some cleaning, or perhaps they damaged the sensor cable during brake hose replacement.

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  4 месяца назад +1

      ABS/ESP are directly linked. I'd bet the plug or cable has been damaged when making the repair. Doesn't sound like a coincidence.

      If I had a 407 I would for you my friend...but I don't ... There are some ball joint basics on the channel...however the 407 has a little odd front lower joint which is more of a bearing/cup.

      A cheap OBD reader won't do it. You will need Peugeot Planet, A Bosch diagnostic system or something like Delphi 150e / snap on type hand held proper diagnostic device. You may have to bite the bullet and pay for a diagnostic...then fix the sensor yourself once you have the results. 👍
