Nah they deserve to lose and not touch the ball the whole game. 2k really needs to ban people like this. Going in with 2-3 friends is the most miserable experience in 2k. I’ll be wide open but the random will fake pass to me and hit his homeboy covered in the corner.

Played my first rec game of the season yesterday, sg and sf left cos pg and center were playing buddy ball, i went 1/1 cos i managed to grab a decent o board. I finished the game with 2 points 13 boards 7 assists, 5 steals and a block with no turnovers whilst the center went 6/27 .... Pain !!!
i would have left. no point in playing if teamate is trash and playing boyfriend ball

Played a rec game yesterday with randoms. First half went well had 15 points 4 assists and we had 10 point lead. We were sharing the ball and playing good defense. The second half started and our center did a complete 180 and started sitting in the offensive paint for the ENTIRE second half every offensive possession. If we did not pass him the ball it was a 3 second violation everytime. When we did pass it in there he bricked the standing layup almost every time. Needless to say we ended up loosing the game and that game turned out to be the most frustrating thing ever experienced in 2k
Forgot to mention the center did not come up the court to play defense either, just sat in the offensive side of the court paint the entire second half

I recently played a park game with 2 random dudes who were friends and kept only passing to each other, Super annoying! It got to the point the other team recognized it and stopped guarding me and they still wouldn’t pass me the ball. I shoot 68% from 3 and still no pass haha. They finally passed me the ball when the score was like 16-4 and brah I wasn’t having it already hahaha immediately threw it back to dude lol. I had to take a damn break from the game😂. Love the content man🫡

I have to respectfully disagree with the "i get it if they were gold or purple". Some of my absolute worst experiences are with purples. They are buddy ball enthusiasts, with superiority complexes out the ass. There are times you can tell a player is gonna be trash or a seller by their gamertag, how their player is dressed, and ofc their goat ranking (black-purple). But ive been burned by all rankings lmao

Ball hogs are like this in every sport they want the glory, but won't play defense because "its boring." When I was growing up we were taught to appreciate doing the dirty side of sports e.g. When we played Cricket anyone that didn't field wasn't allowed to bat at all next time & had to field all day. These two pricks would've been punched in the face if they did that with the people I grew up with (no joke that actually happened to someone because they didn't want to field & only bat).
@@amadhatter3280yeah in high school for basketball I’d be in practice playing like a pg, but since I was a taller person (6’0) with the most athleticism and strength, they had me playing center😭 Played all the defense and got the offense going with assists, just knew that was the role for us to win. We went undefeated until I got injured so it doesn’t matter what role you have as long as your team wins.

they just need a report system and a kick to vote if someone is on a C- or lower going into the second half of the game the team should be allowed to kick them out if everyone votes

Trust me it’s not you, these randoms be having demons they need to exorcise by torturing others in the rec, I had the satisfaction of making a rec random grade out yesterday after things got heated between me and him after he let his matchup drop 50 and he was blaming me while I had 40 with 12 assists. All 18 of his points came from my assists and I told him that he said cap, I ran into him on the opposing team 3 games later held him to 0-5, 0-3 4 TO’s 3 fouls and he graded out. He challenged me to a 1v1 before this and I sent him a friend request and he never accepted it he backed out while talking tough in front of his friends. I’m not gonna lie I played this game for a VERY long time that game was the most satisfying one I’ve ever played on this game.

Man REC randoms be pissin' me off so bad. I'll be shooting perfect from the field and have 12 points in the first quarter. Not forcing anything, just playing within' the flow of the offense. I even pass the ball unselfishly. Then like clockwork, my REC random teammates will freeze me out and start taking crazy unmakeable shots. They won't even pass it to me when I'm wide open. I don't get it.

😂😂 if randoms play like that. I play defense and grab rebounds to get a good teammate grade. On offense I sit right in front of half court so I don't get bad spacing, the person guarding me will just start double teaming them. Normally they quit out and I play with the A.I.'s 😂😂

I played the rec last night I had one guy mind you he is the PF but he wants to have the ball in his hands the whole entire time anytime he doesn’t get the ball he didn’t move no matter if he was open or not he doesn’t go back on defense even if we scored his matchup started doubling everyone he was emoting the whole entire game and move a little bit so that he won’t get kick we ended up losing the game at the end of the game the things that I said to this guy over the microphone would probably have me burnt at the stick cause I was fuming

This is organized highway robbery. I couldn't even play one game (which is a game of a game made based off an irl game might I add which just sounds nuts since it is...) without some sort of man or child or woman for that matter turning their mic on and getting on my silent white ass XD. On god, the amount of times I hear "shut up white boy," per session on this game is almost unrealistic and hilarious. Yes, it IS that bad in reality, but I don't take much offense to being called a white boy lol. The only thing for me is I don't understand why some folks get so racial out of left field... And to a dude that doesn't bother biting back, it got really tiring trying to keep my short temper down.
People that play this game also act you weren't there, and give you a verbal instant replay via slurs and being f**ked up after any bad play you make around 75% of the time on the dot. There's no reason to tell ME, who just shot the ball, that I need to "hit thoooose," because I know... It's often what we all try to do when we begin to press to shoot button... sometimes I'm just a human and didn't hit my window of 180 milliseconds for whatever reason idk ahaha

That first play at 1:26 was definitely your mistake. No reason to hold on to the ball that long and doing that slow crossover against the other teams pg. Shouldve passed it to Miguel who had plenty of space to work with. I dont know if your being sarcastic with "I just cant have no fun" cause that was definitely your fault. Their teamouts though were a complete overreaction. Only thing I would have done is keep passing to the SG cause from what I saw he played relatively normal. Took open shots and had 25 points on good efficiency. His matchup had 18 points so its not like he didnt play any defense. He did stop playing defense when you werent passing him the ball while he was clearly open and you guys werent passing so I think that was justified cause he didnt really do anything to deserve not getting the ball. I dont have to explain the small forward. He was probably the one calling the plays and timeouts and started dancing after 2 minutes. Maybe he was frustrated from a previous game or just in general so he let it out on you guys.
