The guys i mention were all rappers, he learned from their mistakes in the rap game. I like this era. Meek at 31yrs old is still talking about goals he has to reach and in a tone to impart the reality of reaching those goals.
I remember back in the 80's and 90's in hip-hop when if were in hip-hop and you turned 30 you had to keep it 'hush' or downplay your age lest you be called "ole head", or be given the collective impression by the coming up generation that you are 'past tense' and need to go. . . I remember when Jay-Z turned 34 and when it started to become commonly known, you would hear people talk like he should hang it up. It was only when he was in his 30's when he put out his most influential and successful albums.
I'm so glad that the era when "we" were so dumb as to act like that is past. Mill aint even hit his stride yet, and still has mountains to climb
