Great video! Do you know if the different app vendors work together? For example will a Chipolo tracker be picked up by a user of the tile app? Same with Android and Apple devices, can they be detected by each other? Thanks!
Thanks, glad my video was helpful and hopefully worth a sub 🙂 Unfortunately no, the different services don't work with each other by design. (And what gives Airtags an advantage in this area: ruclips.net/video/F3PdZuq5qp8/видео.htmlsi=b_mtCEOAi-tRZ4WW)
Do I need the subscription service for the train scenario to work? That is, if I lose some luggage well outside the bluetooth range, will I still be contacted by the "community" that it was found?
Thank you so much for your clarity and explanation on each of the devices for tracking.
You're welcome!
great video. need to watch it again to catch all the detail
Thanks! Glad this was helpful.

It depends on the service but in almost all cases, finding things outside of Bluetooth range is included in the free plans. Hope this helps!

Currently it looks like it is but for anyone reading, best to check their site in case this gets outdated.
