I use airplane mode all the time. Especially since I was an iPhone 6 user until two weeks ago, and it made a huge difference on battery life throught the day. I can't break the habit even with the iPhone 11 now.
My wifi button ON works with airplane mode. What benefits come from this or what do you think? Love to hear combo’s like this and more. Also, anyway to clear cache?
I think that all phones can now use WiFi in Airplane mode now. This is so for my phone and the phones of other people I know. I put my phone into offline mode when I need a day free from talking or texting with others, which I need once or twice a week. I'm very much an introvert. 🙂 Yes, voicemails and texts are waiting for me when I turn my phone back on, but I don't get all that many. I know then that I'll not have to keep checking my phone for calls or texts when my phone's on Airplane mode. It allows me to just relax and not feel like I have to be in touch with people. One day off from this once in a while is quite healthy, at least for people for me who need that isolation occasionally.
I'm only half way through this video and had to stop to make this comment. I did a search for airplane mode and had one thing I questioned. This brilliant young man has already told me 8 things that I didn't even know I needed to ask. I'm going to come back and listen a second time and take notes. Thank you my friend for all this ! ! ! I liked, subscribed and did the bell.
Airplane mode is extremely dumb feature, especially the Apple implementation. My Windows Phone does it right. I think we need a BED mode instead: turn off all antenna's when you go to bed. It makes so much more sense than including an icon that is suitable maybe once a year (or not at all if you care about pinguins).
0:30 fyi On my iphone and android phone(s) airplane mode does not turn off bluetooth nor wifi. Seems only cellular is disabled. This means my bluetooth headset will still work on an airplane, and you can till connect to the wifi services on the airplane. So to save even more battery life then manually turn off wifi and/or bluetooth, whatever isn't being used.
I tell you, if you have WiFi calling with your network then whilst at home if you have WiFi “TURN AIRPLANE MODE ON”. A lot of non iOS devices act the same way with WiFi calling as it allows calls and texts to take place whilst keeping battery drain to a minimum. Honestly why keep your network providers connection enabled alongside WiFi if you already have a sufficient home broadband connection
@@foXnoMad I use aeroplane mode all the time. I only turn it off if I'm checking for calls or to make a call. I'm kinda anti tech from what I've learned re privacy, health n social real interaction. This for you video.
I lost my phone and couldn't find it; it wouldn't ring or receive calls because I had it on airplane mode. I had to buy a new phone. I'm never using airplane mode again.

same
Same plus airplane mode literally turns off all reception leading to barely any radiation
What about calls if some is trying to reach you it stops every mobile signals😂
Very helpful thanks
What about hacking. Can it protect against being hacked?
How could it if the hacker already have your password then no chance if you want hacker to be stopped from accessessing your device 🤔 then it's good.
@SynthSpooks so if they have the password then all I have to do is change it right
@@Brett-f5v don't be late otherwise forgot your account
@SynthSpooks what's that mean
@@Brett-f5v if you are late then hacker could change your password . Then you can't doo anything
I was not a big airplane mode person. However you have given me new reason to consider being one. Thank You
I need to turnairplane mode off but I cant
Help me
Airplane mode sounds like something to keep track of you while your in a airplane,so if no black box ya have 300 little black boxes😂😂😂
Thanks, using airplane mode as set up a new sim card is a useful tip.👍

I never knew that and will be using airplane mode a lot from now on. Thanks!

Thanks for info 👍
Great explanation thanks! Aussi vous êtes très sympathique.👌
Can u please tell me how to receive emergency calls on airplane mood ?
I don't think it's possible.
Wow, good to know, Thank you .
Great Info! FYI: admit means "to allow in." Emit means "to radiate." These are commonly confused words. Yours, Mark
Thanks alot for this!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, for you help it good to me
If I set my alarm on for the morning will it go off? i dont want anyone disturbing my sleep but I want my alarm to go off in the morning.
Airplane mode won't affect the alarms, you should be good to go.
@@foXnoMad thanks
I put my phone into Airplane Mode when I go asleep, charging my phone, and when I am driving.
Limits EMFs... that are literally killing you.
is it okay to turn it on everyday???? i dont put a sim on my iphone 13 and i decided to just put it on airplane mode. is it okay to turn it on daily?
Sure
If your Iphone gets stolen or lost you want cellular on to find it on find my. Its way harder and slower to find it without cellular connection.
So does it stop my phone from connecting to someone’s Internet?
Depends on your phones particular settings whether it turns wifi off or not.

This for you video.
Does it have any side affects?
It prevents Apple from hamstering your data.
I have incredibly bad insomnia so I always turn it on when I'm sleeping. Anything can wait until morning for me.
I have no idea what it does etc and it’s always on even if I don’t turn it on . I shut it off otherwise I can’t get internet when outside my house
Hopefully after watching this video you have a better idea of what airplane mode does 😉
half of the video is explaining airplane mode, the other half of the video is just giving example after example after example!!!
Be warned that using "Airplane Mode" may disable the "Find my Lost/Stolen phone" functions that many phones have.
Thx!!!
If airplane mode is active in iWatch , incoming calls and msg are coming
In phone it won’t come
much helpful
Airplane mode is better when charging up??
Why not simply switch off mobile data?
So basically, put phone on airplane mode, then you do not get any calls, so why carry a phone?
FYI - It is too early but I will turn it on in a couple of days ✌️😁
It’s much less radiation hitting your body
How to turn off

How can I turn off airplane mode automatically after specific time
@Instrumental Plug LOL i like you.
You can set it on Shortcuts in whatever way or time you want
