"Roy Keane is the best captain under whom I've played" - Cristiano
because he is dikridin ronaldo
@@mightytitan1719 ironic coming from you
because ronaldo has been captain ever since
@@Not_Tiago Ramos and chiellini says different
@@goatclips2222 captaincy at real is given based on number of years at the club not leadership skills and in Juventus Ronaldo acted like a captain as you can see in many dressing room clips
Even during these current difficulties for CR7, Roy Keane still defended him and stuck by his side. He was like the older brother to Cristiano.
A true captain
Thats what a true team player does. Neville is a hypocrite and disgrace. As for Rooney, a jealous man. One of the most overhyped players ever, couldn't lace Ronaldos boots
Roy Keane although not always right he gives his honest opinion not this giving controversial opinions for likes bs nowadays . After Lisbon v United no one could honestly say young Ronaldo wasn't already a really really good player at that point . Roy just gave an honest opinion
@@christophergallagher3845 I think whats been implied above is that to this day he sticks by his team players
@@sand9374 he's roasted a few and been right to do so , it's not that he sticks by them which we know he will stick by the ones he personally liked but he's just honest . If Ronaldo done something wild tomorrow like something morally wrong Roy Keane would not make excuses for him
Roy Keane is a TOP G. He never rats on his friends. Thats a real legend.
It's someone that's very unprofessional. As a pundit, you shouldn't be biased. Or you should duck the subject.
@@CatharticSense still respectable imo choosing friends over his job, shows his priorities and values towards people he knows.
@@plsdude3983 Yet when Carragher or Neville chose their mates over their job they got slated for being biased.
@@MannYSJ1080p that's good on them but Keane seems to be also getting some stick so it's all part of it
Roy Keane, over all else, respects hardwork. He loves Gary Neville, who without doubt was never ever the top fullback in the country; because he worked hard. Cristiano Ronaldo for 20 years has been the hardest working footballer off the pitch. The amount he gets shat on is ridiculous. Pundits can criticise the players where they believe criticism is due; Keane is deeply hurt by the cloud in which he left United and believed it to be management's fault; he saw echoes of the same with Ronaldo and wasn't going to shit on him for it. The other pundits have been protecting their mates in the form of managers when the results were blatant, not players in which the behind the scenes is unknown; huge difference.
I never expected ronaldo to reach the heights he did. Legend.
Someone was always gonna do it out of football, and there is no other player in this generation of football should take his place he deserved to be where he is and it was destined
@@ChristuckervoiceLEE the way he did it was so admirable. There were more talented kids than him, don’t get me wrong he had top class talent but the heights he took it to is jaw dropping.
Sad now that he’s fading, people are disrespecting all he’s achieved due to him not being a natural born goat, but rather a self made one.
@@FatTodd you mean 10 year old kids and soccer fans are disrespecting him. Real football fans know CR7 will always be something special.
@@Vince888 go watch espn or talkSPORT, channels like rants and bants, football terrace - I could go on. It’s become the normal and cool thing to slander him.
Many say he had overstayed his welcome in the game
I remember there were rumours of him leaving after the 2006 World Cup. He’d shown promise before that without being that good but his form absolutely exploded the following season.
I love how he articulates himself the exact same way still
Believe it or not people don't become completely different people when they age you know.
@@JamieReynolds89 He appears in adverts for bookies now days [Sky Bet].
Player Keane would've hated professional talker Keane, the recently self-proclaimed trans-rights campaigner
@@sarl2121 its seems like u have a problem with that
@@pavlevasilev2968 He's fake. Didn't say a word in support of gay rights when Ireland had a referendum in 2015 because there was no TV deals in it for him.
@@sarl2121 no one cares about gay rights
Keane’s been there since day 1 for Ronaldo, ALWAYS had his back, like father who’ll never let anyone talk shit about his son
They're both proud, insecure and arrogant men. So they see eye to eye.
wow seeing roy keane speak highly of a new signing like this must mean he's actually pretty good. hopefully this ronaldo guy shines at man utd....i hav a feeling one day he'll be known as one of the greatest to have ever played the game
Kid looks promising 😉
@@manutdretrorever7z he's gonna be, another failed player don't see him becoming big
He was captain
Keep an eye on Kleberson too, looking well promising
Looks like a primadonna, the type to spit his dummy if it’s not all about him, bet he leaves Utd under a cloud
If you impress Roy then you’ll end up GOAT.
18, new club, new country, new language, best league in the world. The true goat
Arguably top 5, not the GOAT.
@@gus7007 lol ok. I don’t think anyone is gonna top messi or Ronaldo. Individual numbers don’t lie
@@joeb2860 I agree as a goalscorer Ronaldo is top 2 but as a footballer he's not, that's a different thing.
@@gus7007 I love how you're kind of suggesting that a goalscorer isn't somehow a real footballer. There seems to be this weird bias with some people where they seem to think that only midfielders are real footballers and that dribbling/passing is all there is. Ronaldo is the top goalscorer of all time, he's in the top 5 most assists ever and he's arguably the most complete forward ever seen as in his prime he could play anywhere up front, he had all the attributes. All of them.
Whether some prefer Messi or Ronaldo is another debate, but there is no one that is even close to those two in my opinion. Let alone the fact that the general standard in football is far higher than it was decades ago, which actually causes people to say "well players used to be better back then, we had Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Fenomeno, Kaka, Zidane, etc." but what people fail to mention is that back then, when the standard was lower outside the top teams in the world, it was easier to stand out from the pack. Nowadays, there are very few easy matches, you see far more upsets than ever before in both club and international level as well. To claim otherwise would be an insult to the sport itself because you'd be saying that the biggest and most played game in the world hasn't evolved in the past few decades.
Plus, you just can't argue with Messi scoring 50 goals in one La Liga campaign and Ronaldo scoring 48 in the same year, back when La Liga was in its prime. These two are a different breed.
@@lfmm97 No I'm not saying that, Goalscoring is the biggest part of football but different playertypes are making it possible for "goalscorers" to score goals.
For example if you're talking about Messi who is a natural talent , probably best dribbler ever, passer, ball carrier, otherworldly vision in the field and more(and also the greatest goalscorer of all time). Ronaldo isn't all that, he's an fantastic athlete and and great goalscorer but there is more to football.
Do you think Jamie Vardy is a greater footballer than for example Iniesta and Zidane etc because he's scoring more goals. I'm trying to understand how you think my friend.
This aged very well 👍
2 bigger legends for mufc would be hard to find
True. Ronaldo and Kleberson
@@bartholomewlyons haha 😂
Kleberson an all time great!
Can we talk about the dude in the Ronaldinho clip celebrating like he did anything other than take credit for a goal Ronaldinho scored lol
Haha kinda like how Ronaldo took credit for Bruno's goal cause of his hair
@@devilishnessx459 he didn't though. watch him not celebrate and run straight to Bruno in the clip
@@DollyRanch ronaldo literally said he would appeal to fifa to get that goal
@@TheGaurav831 yeah fair but I still think that in the moment he knew

@1:55 pep stealing Ronaldinho's goal. SMH
damn this interview really a few months before i was born
Yeah, that wasn’t that long ago like not that much
Beant the mean demeanor, Roy Keane is a good guy. It takes real confidence to defend a player when the other lads bully him
Don't forget CR7 elevated his games in his final 2 years at Man Utd. Before that he was "just" one of many great players who have played at United. But since he was given more chances to play outside the wing, he became a scoring machine - something he wasn't able to do in the first 1/3 of his career.
Underrated channel.
Nice to see Roy in a surprisingly jovial mood!
Why does 2003 look and sound like the early 90's or even 80's 😂

Roy mentioned during this period he was gaunt and thin. He absolutely is, wow.

@Laith The League Cup so far?
Also you all stop being lil bitches, he's only been here for three years.
This reminds me of the Incredibles beggining interviews 😂
I think he saw a lot of himself in Cristiano, at least from a mentality perspective.
Yeah that's why he always backs Ronaldo up. Ronaldo ultimately is the ultimate professional, turns up.. does it job. And does it well! Unlike all the other clowns United have harboured the last 5 years.

Linked with Damien Duff and Harry Kewell 😂 Oh what could have been.
Duff won a premier league and was class. Keweell average
Kleberson haha. He had an absolute worldie of a World Cup in Korea/Japan

And keep in mind Ronaldo was 17 years old at the time.
18
Literally says it in the fuckin video, Jesus Christ
The way Keane talks so high about this kid Ronaldo, call me crazy but I can see him being a top professional winning UCLs, league titles, ballon dors, golden boots etc..
He should play for untied
Bro's at like
The rest is history..
Damn they tried to sign Ronaldinho? Imagine if they did 🤤
We still won everything without him lol
Ronaldinho would of had a greater legacy because SAF would discipline him and it would be harder to party all the time in Manchester. United would never sign Rooney, therefore building the team around Ronaldinho and CR7 as well as keeping Rudd that is a terrifying trio imo
@@KingEzekio that is not a given lol Fergie couldnt keep Ravel Morrison under wraps.

He wasnt talking about ronaldo, he was talking about denis irwin
When United bought the best young players.
Now we watch our fiercest rivals buy them.
Shameful.

Roy Keane has looked 40 since he was 18 lmfao
Keano looks incredible fit at that moment ngl.. 😂
This Ronaldo-Guy seems to be a good player. Maybe he could even step up further. Anyone know what happend to him?
Roy always shouted at Ronaldo during the game like Ronaldo had owed hin something 🤷🤷🤷
Who’s the knob head that robbed Ronaldinho of a goal?
CR7 and ronaldinho together would have been amazing to watch
In alternate universe, both Ronaldo and Messi being Ronaldinho disciples. Both grew up and become the best duo Barcelona ever had.
I wonder how this Cristiano kid worked out...
And now Roy Keane has the biggest man crush on Ronaldo. 😂
Roy loves Ronnie so much. He may love him more than his wife and kids 😂
Think about how good you have to be for Roy Keane to love you like that, hah!
No mate his love for denis irwin is unrivaled
Man, I remember watching that actual pre season game when he was on Porto as well. You could tell the "kid" had it. Was pumped when they signed him. And it was very common to see Keano give Ronaldo a shout or two at times when he was over dribbling in those early days - and not playing traditional ManU football at the time. No surprise he thinks Keano was his best captain. He was.
why does ronaldo have esporito santo on his shirt?

I would be pissed if I was Ronaldinho and that guy stole my goal
Who even is this guy? 💀
Roy Keane overreacting here, this Christian Reinaldo is too skinny, he's not like the real Ronaldo Fenomeno
Fenomeno got fat and retired soon after while CR7 still plays at world top level until today and further. You can always build up muscles but its much harder to drop weight. Not to mention how much more pace CR7 has.
