In the Modern View the article says the following: "If the lord of Sri Lagna is exalted or debilitated, the native is Srimanta (Wealthy Person)". My Sri Lagna is in Pisces and the lord is Jupiter placed in Cancer so this criteria gets satisfied. You seem to be referring to the Ancienty Commentry from South India (Vriddha Karika) where Nakshatra Lord need to be placed in Tara Lagna to see if its exalted/debilitated or in friendly/enemy sign. The Nakshatra Lord of Uttara Ashadha is Surya which is neither exalted or debiliated in Pisces. My Sun is in Taurus. So what you are saying is that only the ancient commentry in the article is correct and the modern method should not be used.
