Thanks mate, yeah I originally tried on top of my helmet like most 360 cams, however the mount fell off 🤦♂️ so went back to the chin mount but it actually worked surprisingly well so think I’m going to keep it on the chin. Glad you like it mate, how did the 50 lapper at Nottingham go?

Good racing there, was fun battling with you in the first session! I went back on Sunday and the track's already gripped up significantly compared to Friday, most of us members running the 342s were hitting low to mid 30s times in a few of the sessions along with the race academy drivers hitting 29s on speed 4. Next couple weeks should really start seeing the track grip up even more so hopefully we'll start seeing 29s laps on speed 3.
Ah that’s good to hear, 29s on speed 3 would be mad! Yeah I heard race academy went on speed 4 asked the other day to go on and said they’re not allowing it which is a bit of a bummer as obviously all the rankings are messed up, I hope either they allow all member sessions to do speed or they remove the speed 4 times on the main leaderboard so you can see where you match up. From the sounds of it I think they are just now doing speed 4 for Elite events which is fair enough as would sort the leaderboard issue out.
Great video mate, Liverpool looks amazing and the karts do too, nice 360 pov, might have to try that myself, what 360 camera you got, it's a great upgrade 😁👍
Thanks mate, I think it's the same camera as yours it's the insta360 x2, I was going to mount it on my head but the go pro mount wouldn't stick so ended up using my chin strap instead and it actually worked really well!
I have a question, on the hairpin at the ramp and the other hairpin by the Start/Finish straight, I (for nearly every lap) oversteered through those corners, do you know how I can get them right cause my lines were basically on point
tbh I couldn't tell you a braking point, as I usually do that corner off feeling, however it's definitely just a tiny dab on the brakes then gently back on the throttle.
was here earlier today. first session was pretty horrid. struggled with breaking alot and corner exit before the ramp but second session i improved by 2 seconds to a 31 flat. karts feel increadibly quick of the line. torque is just instant
Aha sorry mate sadly you hitting the barrier in that first session was a great example of what not to do 😅 I totally didn’t cut out the 20 times I also did it in that first session aha

Ah you've got to love electric kart hater petrol heads, I get it but also on paper electric karts are just better for indoor karting no question about it.
still the editing skills are on point and u are good at karting im just suprised keep up the good work algorithm will hit big on u trust the process @@KartingWithJosh

I think you’re exactly right with trusting the process, just focusing on adjusting my life a little to make sure I can stay consistent as they take a while to make but I think I’ve got it down. I’m currently a week ahead in videos and I’ve got 5 videos in the works so lots of fun to come hopefully 🤞
What day did you go I might have been there :p Edit: 5:50 Haha, same thing kept happening to me and it was killing my lap times, I could have gotten away with a high 31 if I hadn't struggled so much I recon.
It the 9am-10am on the opening day 29th March and yeah it's so important to concentrate on your grip going into the up ramp, you really don't want to be oversteering there.
@@KartingWithJosh Yarp, kept making the same mistake. I ended up convincing a bunch of friends who had never been karting before to come with me, who maybe did squeeze me in to the barrier a few times trying to around lol. One of the guys in my session did end up with the fastest time of the day tho (as far as I'm aware) so it might have just been a skill issue on my part.
This camera view is fantastic! all the positives of a standard chin mounted camera but the ability to see to the sides of you is awesome!

41.685 at Leeds and it isn’t my local my local so Warrington and my fastest time there is a 52.945 and have tried Preston

I’m sure you were running rings around your mates aha, tbf squeezing you to the barrier although accidentally if it was a race is a cracking move!
