- We figured out a way to farm megakegs (stronghold gunpowder kegs) in a fast an efficient way in Sea of Thieves. This resulted in one of the biggest explosions I have ever seen in the game. We LITERALLY MADE a MEGAKEG FARM and it was amazing! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it.

The mega keg round being Green is a bonus too as you can just grab the green lantern off the ferry from being killed by a skelly.

Next science adventure is to boat launch to space then detonate the stack to see if you can witness the nukes from orbit.

if you find a faster way you could make so much money. Because im pretty sure each keg sell for 5-7k ish. So if they have 26 of them they wouldve made like 182k
Don't think this need to be patched.. seeing how active people are on attacking or stealing Fotd.. I don't see this as an really Good way of getting mega kegs.. as majority of people only get mega kegs to blow up boats.. So its neat that they respawn.. but I don't see this being an good farm for mega kegs.. probably better trying to do the voyage for kegs instead.. less chance of getting attacked by other players.
So, this might get lost in the sea, but I actually found I way to do this back when Harpoons were first added.
As a solo sloop on an Athena voyage, get a spawn wave with a Mega Keg skelly, harpoon it off him, then kill yourself. He'll respawn again with another keg and keep going.
I did this and got an awesome photo of my pirate in a field of of kegs at K9. Took maybe 30 minutes. I reported it to Rare though, and it was patched a few days later so skellies now die when you harpoon their kegs. v-v

You can also stack megakegs on safer seas from regular forts. Takes quite a bit longer but it is risk free :)
You also lose access to 70% of the game and value of everything for your needed "safety "
@@OldbonesxDI’m sure he likely doesn’t imply it as solely a reason to make value from it. Just to risk free stack kegs for fun.
@@ZenviZi regardless its not risk free. Skele ships spawn 2x more on safer seas then high seas so all it takes is one ball from a skele and that "safe" keg stack is gone 🤷♂️
@@OldbonesxD yeah that is true. Maybe not risk free but definitely less risk. These skelly bone ships are not as smart as players can be
@@ZenviZi but they have straight up aim bot haha , no need for smarts when all you have to do is ram and aim bot carpet bombs of cannons and curses at your boat.. my only point is no where is "safe" to stack kegs XD alot of safer seas people couldn't handle a skelly fleet let alone one skelly even less so with a keg on board haha
You should make a second channel and upload your vods! I get so sad when time goes by so fast these videos feel like 5 minutes lol
Imagine if you try to stack like a 100 mega kegs and then when you sail away a meg bites your boat and you blow up
not to take away from the funny aspect of your comment, but it's possible and very easy to cross the map without ever getting munched on by a meg
