Make a base where the padlock itself is the trap. Have a ton (and I mean a TON) of photos with different “potential” codes, but none of them are right, so they’ll kill themselves through electrocution

A maze of interconnected trap bases that random players choice to enter with the promise of riches for the one who can navigate the maze to reach the end alive. The treasure room at the end just being a sign saying 'Sorry Mario, but the treasure is in another castle'.
