@Tamerlan User did we asked?
really it is so informative.
Why is there no France from 1798 to 1801?
I like how Armenia was changing colors between green and purple
The Almogavars recuperated some territories for byzantines from ottomans in early XIV century. All mappers ignore this.
Wonderful explanation

This video makes me want to play Civilization 4 mod Rhye and Fall Sword of Islam, probably the best Civ experience I have played.
Great video! Can I recommend the history of Scandinavia or Nordics every year?

Amazing how, since the fall of Rome, the first Western nation to enter Asia Minor again was no other than the British Empire, the farthest away from it.
Yea i notice that...
WRONG , IT WAS PORTUGAL, see 1527
@@iraqimapper1595 If you want to count that, then the very first were the Italians through Venice in 1475.
British empire wouldn't have ever existed if not for rome. Take note that london was founded by the romans
There are a few errors. For example the sultanate of rum did not actually expand on 1176 but rather in 1182. Still a great video though
Good job

Middle East’s map- Ight imma break down
This should be called a map of Syria, Iraq, and Jordan as those are some of the only countries fully shown in the map. This map needs to have been zoomed out more. It is so aggravating to see it named as a map of the middle east when only 50% of the middle east is actually shown!!!
Good point
Good video ollie 👍
0:17 Muslims came from Arabia to middle East. Note where France 1798 to 1802
Thanks!
Everyone: Come on, there is no way you’re going to appear in a Middle East History video...

History of the middle east: Persians vs whoever else is strong in the middle east at the time.
No
@Bazel Merchad The Taherids, Saffarids, Samanids, the Buyids, Safavids, Afsharids, Zand and Pahlavi were all Iraninan in origin after Islam. a little research before making a stupid comment 🤣 Also, Iran is consist of Multiple Ethnic groups. Not just Persians. however, Persian language and Culture was the main core of all of them. so yeah, Iranians for the Most part ruled their own country
@UCNMXuA4wc7CP0_mkSDxcFVw You lost me when you said Persian culture is based on Arabic! that shows how ignorant and illiterate you are. Arabs were a bunch of Nomads in the Arabian deserts. all of this IRANIAN dynasties were based on the Persian culture and governing structures of the Achaemenids and Sassanids. and yes, Afsharids and Safavids were indeed IRANIAN in origin. as i said before, Iran IS CONSIST OF MULTIPLE ETHNIC GROUPS. NOT JUST PERSIANS. Nader Shah hated Turks and he killed so many of them in battles lol. not to mention their official court language was Persian and NOT Turkic. try harder next time boy 🤣🤣
@Bazel Merchad achamenids followed Elam empire , and it is older than Mesopotamians, elam empire is lur group if you search ,. And achamenids never followed Assyria cause they were weak!, achamenids ruled at 3 empires of worls , Egypt Greece, assyirua, so they were great than your small brain cant even imagine 💩
Long Live Ollie!
The longest period of rule in the Middle East belongs to Elam
2200 BC-550BC
Also, the city of Shush(Susa), the center of Elam, still exists with the same name in the southwest of Iran
Yes! No one talks about Elam
nice video bro

You seem to forgot the French campaign to Egypt led by Napoleon (1798-1801) during the revolution. Also it would be possible to merge the 3 videos into a single one?, one day I presume. Thanks, I love you work
But they were losed
@@tasnubarahman6068 Even if the French lost, that invasion is still an important moment in modern Egyptian history, as it marks the end of the mamluk rule of Egypt and the beginning of modern Egypt

The problem with map videos like this one is that for the last 20 or so years, they show de jure control, when they should be showing de facto
Yes, thats true
What are the "Carian Turks" that appear in southwestern Anatolia in the late 1110s? I thought that area was fully subjugated by Byzantium.
Some Seljuk Turks indeed settled in that area after an offensive against Alexios Komnenos.
