Sometimes I felt depressed and lonely when I was being alone too long and not seeing friends. Just like today, I just couldn't hold the feeling back and talked to my best friend (also my mentor, a mind body and soul educator). Then she sent me this song! I felt like that's how God bring this message through her to me. Now I start to understand that being alone is we have to learn how to TRULY be with ourselves instead of putting ourselves on a lonely side. That’s a part of growth to be an independent person. Sometimes being alone could be wonderful. It’s a good time to work on our own stuff. Also our true voice could be heard from our inner selves or seek message from God when being alone.
What a beautiful song! I'd never heard of Joyce before, but she is an excellent singer. This song expresses part of myself so perfectly, especially being alone but not lonely. I've always been fine with my own company, something a lot of people don't understand. Just like a lot of people don't understand how someone else can just stay at home instead of going out. Thanks for the song. It's a new favourite of mine, & I'm going to check out more of Joyce's music.
