My favorite thing about Mr. Skinner’s videos is the way he takes his time focusing on pictures. He sets a standard on how it’s supposed to be done. Thanks Jerry!

I really liked Patrick as a person even though I never met him or knew him. He was a good man a caring/loving husband and a dedicated actor. Thanks Jerry for bringing Patrick back to us for a brief period!
Jerry you KNOW how to DELIVER a DOCUMENTARY which has the viewer HANGING ON TO EACH & EVERY ONE OF YOUR WORDS! I cried @ the END! This was another GREAT ONE🏆
Great video Jerry. You always come through. First we lost Michael Landon to pancreatic cancer and then Patrick Swayze. Both were taken from us far too soon. RIP
As you always do Jerry you’ve made me laugh and you’ve made me cry but mostly I’ve walked the path of memory lane . Your words and photos are amazing as are you .
Really missing my oldest Son today, he passed in 1989 at the age of 7 1/2. It's getting close to the night he passed, I have good years and some are pretty darn rough. Great video, Mr. Skinner, your work is always done so well! At the end when he says about taking the love with you, that's all I needed to hear to let some much needed tears out!!! Looking forward to your next video! Thank you, Sir!!!
Oh my! Patrick Swayze was a beautiful human. Loved his movies and his “real life” movie as well. I was sadden when I first heard about his illness. So very unfortunate he was called home so soon. I will forever remember Patrick in Dirty Dancing and Ghost my favorite. He was the most lovable and loyal husband Lisa was one lucky girl. I hope she is well. As for dear Patrick I wish to think “the Love: you take it with you” RIP. Thank You Jerry loved your selection today. Stay safe.
Wow Jerry, what a way to start the week. It’s really some life he had. Some what of a love story. He died too young, and will be missed by a lot of his friends. RIP Patrick, and thank you again Mr. Jerry Skinner for this incredible documentary. Please keep em coming.🤠 Augie and Jill Blase, Winter Springs, Florida. 32708
When Patrick Swayze died in '09 reporter's put nasty hurtful rumors out there about his Wife mistreating him and deliberately starving him while he was dying. Just absolute lies because his Wife would have never treating him that way. RIP to Patrick Swayze such an Amazing talent 🙏🏽🕊
Wonderful, Jerry!!! Patrick was such an icon. And, you, sir... "La Jolla" -- you said it like a native, bravo!!! But, don't you ever lose that Mississippi accent, your voiceovers are legendary amongst your YT subs! Looking forward to the next production 🙂
Big swayze fan. Once a week I try to catch one of his movies. Scored some of his clothes years ago when Lisa had an auction on ebay. Got a nice shirt he wore for a Solomons mines opening. And a pair of his jeans! I still occasionally wear them ! Lol
Mr Skinner I was watching something else on RUclips until your story popped up on my phone and I had to stop and check yours out I want to thank you for this story and the story reminds me of how I love you thank you and keep up the good work
Breaks my heart the disastrous effect his perfectionistic demanding mother had on her children--alcohol, depression & low self-esteem. When you hear that as a young child, it stays with you.
Thanks Jerry another great bio and a great actor, it was a shame he died so young loved him in Ghosts great film. And your story telling is the best keep them coming Thanks Linda
Always liked watching Patrick Swayze, and one of my favorite lines was in his movie Point Break, "Not this time..." Great job Skinner, keep'em coming:)
Mr Skinner....Another fabulous blog. That Southern accent of yours is so charming. I have been following you for over nine years. Your voice is golden. Please do a vlog about Rosa Parks. Respectfully, Norma
Touching story about one of my late wife's two or three favorite male actors. But Mr. Swayze, like my late wife, had a problem with alcohol. Patrick Swayze turns out to have been all too human.
Jerry, that was an outstanding video! I could’ve sworn I heard you say World War II about the movie red Dawn. If I’m correct, you may want to correct the voice over on that.
While filming the beast my daughter met him on set, he wouldn’t allow any pictures but she said he was such a nice man. I appreciated that he spoke to her and was kind.
Thanks for this video. I am relation through my mother who also is a Swayze . John Swayze and his two sons came from England in 1600's after the Pilgrims. Very interesting Bach ground. All us Swayzes are related.
Hi Jerry, I've just discovered your channel and after several hours of feasting on content about movie stars, I've found it most enjoyable so, thank you very much for sharing. Peace and Blessings 💖
I lived a few miles from the road mistaken for the Prescott airport and saw the light pole he sheared. The road was in a Prescott Valley subdivision under construction. There was some controversy about a case of beer he had onboard. A few construction workers took him to a motel and got rid of the beer (evidence). The story was squelched nationally but because of the construction guys there was followup for weeks afterward. I think the guys were charged but too long ago to remember those details.
Great video!! Horses are fun, but, I have never been thrown from one. I can't imagine being in an accident like that. He sounds like a very strong guy.
The ranch he owned here in New Mexico was also a dude ranch where they had horse back rides and a few one room huts that they would ride to. They had camp fires and music there and a top chef that cooked for them all. If was only done once a year and alot of the people that would make reservations for that week where people that had money and fly in to Santa Fe and there would be a ranch hand that would meet them to bring them to the ranch. Untill about two years ago they would still keep it going in his honor. The ranch at that time and still is named Indian head because one of the mesas look like the head of an Indian. A fire that we had here in New Mexico burned alot of the ranch but didn't get close to the ranch house or the grounds. He was also in to his horse's so much that he also completed in some of the horse shows as a hobby.
Somehow, some way Patrick became a big inspiration to me. Not really sure how, but I've fought cancer since 2006 and had always admired Patrick in his movie rolls. I was pretty devastated to hear of his battle with a worse cancer than I was fighting. Maybe because I seen allot of me in his characters and maybe in real life. I think his determination to overcome hard times was most inspiring... May he always rest in peace!!!
Always admired Patrick, what a beautiful man with a beautiful Soul. Just shows you though how a parent even though they think they are doing what's best for you as a kid can affect how you feel about yourself and carry that feeling with you for the rest of your life. Thanks Jerry for doing what you do and doing it well.
Jerry Skinner whenever I come across any of your video's, I like & enjoy your documentary video's but, most especially I really like your soothing voice as you explain thing's in your video's as we the viewer's are watching 😂🤣😜❤️❤️🎥🍿
Love your documentaries Jerry! Thanks. It's odd. Patrick was in an episode of MASH and his character was eventually diagnosed with cancer a weird coincidence ..
I love seeing a notification from Jerry Skinner on RUclips. I love listening to him narrate these awesome biographies and documentaries. Something in his voice just sounds like an old friend that you always love to hear from.
16:54Did you SEE Ghost? Ya gotta! Demi's character is not wife but serious love. A key plot device is his trouble expressing love in words, hence the famous "Ditto" clincher.
It's been so very long since I left comment for you but I cannot allow another moment to pass before I do. Patrick Swayze was one of my favorites...of the newer stars, that is. I'm a "Classic Film" buff and own over 2000 films but there is always room for talented people and films that were not from those early days. Of course, many will remember his wonderful portrayals in such films as "Dirty Dancing" and Ghost. No matter what role he took, he always gave it everything he had and that was always more than enough. Thank you for highlighting this wonderful actor, dancer and man who was gone far too soon.
My favorite thing about Mr. Skinner’s videos is the way he takes his time focusing on pictures. He sets a standard on how it’s supposed to be done. Thanks Jerry!
Stellar work.
I like the music.
I do not know how you do it, Mr. Skinner, but you do it. Thank you, sir. You bring tears to my eyes . Thank you, Jerry.
Point Break, Red Dawn, Ghost, and even a soap opera movie like Dirty Dancing, were blessed to have such a talented man.
Another fantastic recap Jerry. Thanks for all your hard work.
Roadhouse was a classic! I love Patrick swayze in that movie how did he win the raspberry award for that lol
@kaw boy it is cheesy it came out in 1989, but it’s still a classic.
Didn't know he had a sister.

Patrick was a one-of-a-kind talent. Actor, singer, songwriter, producer, and likable soul.
And don't forget dancer
And very tasteful too.
This one hits pretty hard I lost my wife from pancreatic cancer less than two years ago she was only 56. She was also a massive Swayze fan.
Sorry to hear.
Way to young.
I'm sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss.
I also lost my hubby to pancreatic cancer 12 years ago. He was also 56. 😢
So sorry for your lost, dear Sir. May God keep you safe and your wife among the angels.
Hope you have good everyday memories of your time together.
