- A mashup of a large variety of different types of trucks working the LA Marathon this year. I decided to not edit the video in chronological order this year as I have in the past for the sake of variety throughout the video-I thought it turned out pretty well.

You know you need to up your marathon training when they are cleaning up and your still running.

I think these marathons cost the city more then they can produce.. even if there trying for a good cause.. you realize how many trees it took for all them paper cups....🙁

There is something that makes watching the street sweepers handle those cups so satisfying! Nice truck variety too, always neat to see the DaDee Scorpions in actions.
There has to be a more efficient way to clean this up. Like not making such a mess in the first place.

Plastic cups picked up by big diesel powered trucks. Although some are natural gas powered, still it's crazy.
They are worried about plastic straws but look at all the plastic cups...

LA should get a few snow plows just for this seems like it would be more efficient
I think they sould use snow plow to take the trash from the side and put it in the middle so they just have to scoop it up

Those sweepers looked like they did a great job with the sides, also they worked together which made the process a lot more faster.
California should outlaw disposable cups to go with the straws

I tell you what The City of Beverly Hills, CA has a pretty big service department there defiantly full service that's for sure.

Blaze the Fox this was practically encouraged to do. That’s why the city was so prepared to clean it up quick. With 50+ thousand people in the roads garbage cans would have been a bottle neck and been overflowing anyways.

Bins are overflowing, water stations are overwhelmed. When you're running to reach a goal there's hardly time to stop and wait for people to move from a trash can so you can toss it in.

Recycling is a myth bud. Nearly all "Recyclable" trash is simply shipped to country's like Malaysia and just left in massive piles. Would recommend looking into if you waste alot of time sorting things as it literally doesn't matter.

Now I explain you a thing: 1 "big and heavy" truck is better than 3/4 small trucks, cuz it burns less fuel and catches more waste. Turn on the brain the next time.
