- Here’s route 554 Tuesday, a very heavy yard waste route in Santa Rosa Valley. I think the whole route was only like 800 carts, yet it was still 3 packed out loads in a 36 yard Amrep. I got to do it in truck 249, the last ex-LA Amrep in the fleet, a 1999 with almost 350k miles on it. Keep in mind none of the older trucks have hopper cameras, so it’s a bit of a guessing game in regards to how clear the hopper is which explains the occasional unnecessary manual packing and cart shaking.
0:55 the bins empty😂😂
Im observing lots of manual packing and cart shaking, I assume this unit does not have a hopper camera
no the driver just sucks
Those carts of leaves and grass sure go down easy, but I wonder how this unit would perform on recycle
The lid closing must be annoying
What is that door looking / hinged piece of metal used for? That the grooves are attached too
Are u talking about on top?
Or where the arm is

That cool bro
This is a very weathy area in Ventura County. These people could care less about the process there greens will go through when being dumped into the truck and compacted and taken to the dump. This is why I compost at home as this process is very cruel.
You seem to have some ethical confusion about the handling of plant matter, it is not sentient like an animal or person
@@trashmonster26 I encourage you to watch the many RUclips videos where youtubers like Plant Mama Tatiana are actually rescuing plant cutings thrown out in the trash waiting to be pick up and destroyed and proprogating them into beautiful home gardens for no cost. ruclips.net/video/7qXbxYhlU6g/видео.html ruclips.net/video/I2XhDeSB9q8/видео.html . She is a gorgoeus young women that trying to make a difference in this world. An example would be at 24:29, where all those beautiful healthy cuttings could be proprogated into new plants instead of there horrible fate they will now face. Just asking for an open mind on the subject.
@@trashmonster26 we can have differing opinions.
It’s ok, I asked the trees if it was okay with them that I collected all their leaves and they said yes.
