This realistic day in the life of a dogo argentino as pet is my typical day. Dogos are a hunting dogs so keeping them happy as a pet can be challenging. Here is our day and our routine that we have been following for a while.

Any tips on finding a reputable Dogo Argentino breeder? I am not liking the options out there.

I don’t know any from USA , good breeder will do health testing of both parents and show it to you, match you the right puppy to your temperament and needs, agreement in place including spay/neuter rules, what to do with the dog if needs to rehome etc , breeds when already have customers etc . There is not many good breeders out there anymore. I know few great one but in Poland, their dogs win championships, hunt and they are shipping worthwhile but is probably too much hustle. You have a male dogo right? Looking to add another one?

@@harleyandewa8291 I don't have a Dogo...yet. I want a male Dogo but every breeder I talk to is willing to hand over a puppy to me, no questions asked as long as I have the money. Others won't talk to me at all unless I put a deposit down and reserve a puppy. There are a lot of sketchy breeders out there.

Harley is from back yard breeder impulse kind of purchase (I know that’s bad and I’m not proud of it but my husband wanted a dog immediately after my old one passed away) anyway we ended up with healthy and stable dog but you never know :/ . Maybe look at AKC website they always have listed registered breeders or some facebook group for your state. Good luck and let me know when you find the right one :)
